After 15 years out of the hobby, I’m back playing again. It all started again after stumbling over one of free view games. Keep up the good fluff ?
Super disappointed about you giving up on the GK… I think they have SO much potential It’s going to be hard, waiting for 8th to come out. It is VERY AoS’d right now, but it’s also still going to be its own game; which I like. After seeing the online chat with GW, I’m really confident that 8th is going to be AMAZING! I don’t think people will really appreciate it until the new codex’ arrive. So we definitely have a bit of a wait on our hands. I agree with B-Bone’s finding about his tournament army and I’d love to see him expand his space wolves collection to have more variation and maybe a more fun build! Great to see him hooked on the tournament scene 😀
So did Bone end up squarely in the middle of the pack which is what he wanted? What about you Lawrence?
Was already proper pumped for 8th but reading into your subtle ‘playtested’ smiles towards the end there has given me even more confidence that this is going to be great great times!! And hats off to Bone for such an honest appraisal of his nerves, I’d definitely be the same if/when I get to go to a tournament (as well as very old and frail by the time I’ve painted a complete army!). As always, great content and really looking forward to transitioning to 8th alongside you guys!
Guys, amazing stuff as usual! You’re right about the elitism that’s sprung up, went into my local GW shop bought some windriders, said hi to the lads there and one guy looks at my purchase and says “another Eldar player…” and I retorted with “Actually I’m playing Ynnari with loads of reavers” and he says “Yeah still Eldar though” Actually even the shop keep is a bit an elitist clown, I’m not the most experienced player around, when I’ve asked for clarification and he responds with “Look it up in the book”… Now that there’s a new core book coming… Read more »
