Awesome job guys as always and well done for bringing back the trophy! I think GW need to bring out an extra strategum for each army called the ‘Baker Denial’ maybe stop him rolling 6’s for a turn ? After seeing the video I looked at applying but geez the travel cost from Australia unfortunately is mad. Nevermind another thing to put on my Warhammer bucket list!

Lawrence, we’ve had arguably elder being the strongest codex for 2-3 editions now. Why do you think gw consistently fails to balance them correctly?

Nice run down guys, sounds like you had an awesome weekend! How did you guys transport your models to the event? I’m flying to London for LGT in May and have no idea how my models are going to survive the flight! Thanks 🙂

Good job guys, I’m glad you guys had a lot of fun. I wonder, with the vast majority of competitive games being fought through whomever has the best guns, I wonder if GW will take that as a sign that some sort of aspect to melee needs to be improved to make that aspect more viable? I think hostage taking is about the strongest tactic that can be currently made from it, but it is highly highly dependent on how well (or poorly as the case may be) your opponent screens. While melee has drastically improved imo from 7th, it’s… Read more »

So if according to Lawrence, looking at Bone in his Toga causes retinal damage then I think what he might be trying to say is that Bone looked gloriously radiant! 😀

Would love to take part in a no retreat tourny. Maybe once I sort myself out and get everything painted!

Congrats on the win, always enjoy the TT vox casts. Would love to see that Ulthwe list against some optimized Drukhari or against the worst the Colonel has to offer. Are the Ghosts your Ynnari force now? What could they do against this Ulthwe list?

I love hearing about tournaments, especially from you guys! I hope to have the money and time to start doing a few Tournaments eventually. Gibraltar is definitely very high on that list!

LOVE these voxcasts… shows what 40K is all about: the people! Lawrence, oh Lawrence… Time for the Spider to show us what he’s made of. Put the Eldar and the Dark Eldar on the shelf this year and start rocking a new tournament army! 😛 GK maybe? LOL j/k So glad to see tactics win out over whatever “the new hotness” is at the time. Good on ya! B-Bone, brutha, 3 of 5 with an index list… be proud my friend! Fear will be your ally at the next tournament. Codex T’au will put you in the top 10; I’m… Read more »

Very interesting and it was great to hear the views of three different armies/players. There is alot of good information in there, I just have to find a way to remember it all once the dice start rolling, lol.

Too bad NR is so far away, looks epic.

Them brushes look very swish! Be interested to see how you get on with them in the long term. Signed up on the website for further issue. Thanks for the review from the three of you, seems like a really balanced tournament rule pack and a big improvement on the No retreat V pack now that they’ve cut out some of the extremes. Spider, I agree with you on the Hemlock’s really nasty unit especially when combined with all those wave serpents, gives your opponent some real challenges when prioritising targets. In the current ITC format I suspect the list… Read more »

Congrats guys, sounds like you all had an epic time! Good job again for bringing it home Spider! Also sounds like the perfect experience for a tournament beginner, gonna have to get painting and try and make it next year!
