The hornet doesn’t have the regular pulse lasers, but a lighter version thats 48″ heavy3 S6 AP-3 D2, so basically a jacked up starcannon.
Bones last game – Guilliman is over 10 wounds so you can target him, right?
Did a miss a rules rewrite or something?
These are always such a good watch! Thanks gents!
Pity I didn’t watch this last night though, as soon as Lawrence started talking about lootas and grot shield I had flashbacks to the tournament today where my own grot shield was vected :/ I’m now planning to just put the large loota unit in reserve to keep it safe and more Boyz will have to jog to the enemy instead!
What do you normally do for lunch at these events? At LVO I found it REALLY hard to eat midday and ended up bringing a bag of almonds to hold me over.
If you listen carefully to Lawrence’s last live stream game on the warhammer tv twitch page (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/346804555?filter=archives&sort=time) i think you can actually hear Bone seize the initiative in the background (around 23:05).
spider i experienced commander Bernard in my last game of the weekend and i had the same experience as you he would not die!!!! in the end it took 6 lascanons to kill him last shot of the game for me but he tanked many sniper hits all game!!! fun game against sam, it was great to meet you all hopefully i get through heat 4 and maybe play one of you inf the finals
!
I played against Sam in round 4 and Bernard took 2 rounds of shooting from a Crimson Hunter Exarch and took no wounds! What a beast! Was really funny!
I also qualified, I went 4-1 with Eldar and came 13th. My first Warhammer World tournament and it was a fantastic weekend. Recommend it to anyone.
I had been wondering why the Colonel hasn’t been in any BatReps in so long.
Bone… you can’t Mont’Ka after Kauyon with Shadowsun, you can use an additional Kauyon, after using Mont’ka or Kauyon, not which ever you choose.
You did seize your first game Lawrence, because I remember watching it on the stream. I also remember that one of the commentator’s was constantly surprised by what you were doing because he wouldn’t have done those movements or shooting.
EDIT: Bone, didn’t Trevor die?
cracking report as always gents. just wish i had the spiders luck…..
Lawrence correct me if I’m wrong, but the Hornet has “hornet pulse lasers” which are heavy 3, s6, ap-3, and d2. So 6 shots at strength 6, not 4 at strength 8. Same possible damage, but it’ll be harder to wound big things. Still good but a little different!
Haha, love it how the Spider doesn’t seem too fond of Beard and Bone naming his little bugs and yet the names really seem to stick *waves to Kevin and Terri*.
Gratz though for qualifying and hope you all get a great time at the finals ^_^
@Bone good thisng the Revarna Still sucks/ is too expensive compared to normal riptides! (cry’s in corner as the mosdle is so cool and I can’t run it as is). Happy about the crissis and devilfish drop though so there’s that!
Way to go guys! Keep living the dream.
Funny GW didn’t catch it, but you normally cannot use vectored thrusters after deepstrike.
If you deepstrike, all forms of movement except for charges are prohibited. No warp time, no soul burst, no fire & fade, no Vectored Thrusters either.
Gratz to you two and the Chef for qualifying for the finals! Great result guys. These tournament vox casts are some of my favorite content. Entertaining, exciting and really inspiring. Awesome listening to this when painting. I was really cheering for you everytime you won a game. Good story telling also by the way, keeping the suspense high. Good luck at the LVO next, I’m already looking forward to the vox cast of that tournament!
Listening to Eldar players war stories, is like listening to someone tell how he stole candies from a kid ^_^
And grats to Bone and Chef for qualifying. 😀
Anyone know where the vod for the live stream is? Couldn’t find it when I went searching.
Very well done to you all!!
I caught your final game from the middle Lawrence on the stream and those Death Watch seemed brutal to Talos! Was a very entertaining game
“Heard the call of Drukhari…”
Stubbed his toe going to bed and trod on the cat.
