Great report! So much fun seeing you three! Like the style with Battlereport filmed by a third!
Got one question – maybe i get something wrong: Why doesn’t Beard move his Tyrannofexxes outta combat (against Bikes and Shooters and against the Deff Dred)? When he moves them slightly outta combat he can overwatch again and do more damage than in CC?

just catching up, but what a great bat rep, is this your first “host and not play” chef? GJ!

What a fantastic bat rep. The game itself was brutal and fun. This is why I love assault armies! You get mobs of guys beating each other to death and it feels more epic than sit back and shoot ever could. The random conga line dance had me laughing so hard my wife checked in on me. Chef’s first filminn on his own was a smashing success.

I can only imagine Spider’s Face after reviewing this Video. A head shake and a faceplam and a we need an adult in the room.

As ever, Bone and Beard battle reports are great fun. The ridiculous, surreal moments were further enhanced by Chef’s reactions to them!

Top show fellas!

That was Brilliantly Brutal, I always have a little bit of dread when I play nids as my first game against them I was wiped off the table by turn 3! only my fourth game in 40k and I was stunned by the speed and numbers that just appear before you, certainly a loss I learned a lot from considering it was my first one but great watch here and loads of fun, thanks guys 👍😁

Awesome battle report, great lists and comedy. Laughed a lot here! Few rules mistakes though to keep track off next time: -I believe you misted the “Shadow in the Warp” ability of the Tyranids, which would’ve made a difference on a few occassions I think. -Chameleonic Mutation only gives penalties to hit in shooting, not attacking in combat. Also Beard, you’re a great entertainer/showman, but your tactical decisions can sometimes be questionable, to put it friendly :p. Throwing away the Swarmlord in that charge on the bikes was painful to watch and why didn’t you fall back with the Tyrannofex… Read more »

This by and far was my most favorite battle report due to Beard and Bone’s incredible energy. I have not laughed so hard watching a battle report in a long time. Keep it up gentlemen!

Chef, you’re an excellent presenter and apparently a catalyst for Beard and Bone’s insanity. Please present more!

Was that the best batrep I’ve seen?

While I do enjoy every single one of your batreps, I wouldn’t mind something a little more grimdark now and then. Perhaps the Chef and the Spider could team up for this?

This was a joy to watch great from start to finish I was wondering who would win in a fight, the orks or the nids and now I know more pastry’s production please!

Viktor
Member

Oh, I am so glad Bone did not have enough CP to do the Green Tide so that game could go on longer and actually be a balanced fight rather than turn 2 whitewash… Good game lads!

Pastry productions is good. Like I commented when you played Beard the care and patience on your commentary is brilliant dude. An absolute pleasure and exciting rep to watch! Bruuuutal as expected as well haha..

More PP’s please! Bossed it.
Catch up soon

It was really fun to see two hordes giving their best to obliterate each other, and the mood in the room was awesome. Keep in up and thank you for your work!

Chameleonic mutation is only on ranged attacks FYI.

It makes me sad to see what GW did to Monsterous Creatures. They used to be so good – now they are just 200+ points, with 4 attacks, that hit on 4s and degrade :(. It makes little sense to me that apex predators with literal blades for hands can’t figure out how to wield them.

Did I hear Beard throw out a “not behd, good size” reference?

Somehow having Chef there as the “straight man” makes Beard and Bones antics even funnier. Good job guys!

Great job on your first hosting batrep chef, like a fish in the water! Bone and Beard were insane in this one haha.

Goffs are maybe not the more ”competitive choice” but Scar Boyz with exploding 6″s are absolutely brutal against T4 & T5 based armys, add in a WAAGGHH! Banner Nob and the sheer amount of hits are insane. Even units like plaguebearers start having a hard time against that many attacks that wound them on 3’s.

There’s nothing quite like a bone and beard batrep. I’ve been waiting for this one for ages, it lives up to the hype!

Kraken is designed to get you across the board as fast as possible. But with Orks, you know that they’re gonna meet you half way. As such Leviathan would have been a much stronger choice for that juicy 6+++.

I think you always have to re-roll both dice from abilities that give re-roll to charge, unless the ability itself specifically says that you can re-roll any amount of dice, but even then you can re-roll just one or both.

I play Orks and have a question regarding the fight again strat’s for both armies. Because of the wording, are you able to consolidate, play strat and activate the unit, and pile in again?

Also, great clarification on Ere We Go and a CP re-roll when charging!

As much as I love Nigel and Da Boyz, I really dislike orks in 40k from a fluff perspective. Fluff wise – They share too much conceptual space with the Tyranids, in that both races propagate extremely quickly, are ultra resilient, and essentially are genocidal tidal waves. With the Tyranids, it seems like as a new player, GW and the creative team decided to make that race almost purely terrifying. But that meant if the Orks were also brutal and scary, there wouldn’t be much creative difference between the two races. So, GW decided to make the orks the comic… Read more »
