This game was superb, enjoyed it so much! Laughed a lot and exciting battle as well. Oh and something with Bone, mistakes, everyone and love. Everyone loves it when Bone makes mistakes?

Harlequins are my favourite faction but Bone is my just favourite boi. How on earth am I supposed to root for a team here. Please let Bone play them again!

So the reason that you want 2×6 instead of 3×4 Skyweavers is not to just get the 3++ on one squad of six bikes, but to get the 3++ on two of them. Advance once in the movement phase, use Blur. Twilight Pathways the second 6-bike unit in the psychic phase, advance, use Blur again. Now you have 600 points of very, very lethal units on a -1TH/3++. Even new Space Marines struggle to take that out. At the end of the day, the extra CP you get from an Outrider detachment just isn’t worth giving that up. It might… Read more »

I use 3 squads of 4 harlequin jet bikes armed with haywire and zephyrglaives with my Aeldari soup list and they have proved ruthless against everything I put them at. Sombre Sentinels is also a good bet

I am not entirely sure about this, but for the Flip Belt, in this case for the Solitaire round 3 i believe it says: this model can move across models and terrain as if they were not there. This is exactly the same sentence as for the “FLY” keyword. But both of these got FaQ’d to “‘During the Movement phase, models in this unit can move across models as if they were not there, and when moving across terrain features, vertical distance is not counted against the total these models can move (i.e. moving vertically is free for these models… Read more »

This was *really* brilliant – great guest, and top level ‘bants’.

I approve of the fact that the extra space required for Bone’s off table kung-fu was factored into the new studio – smart thinking!

Very enjoyable game, and a great guest player! I particularly enjoyed James’ attitude back at you two. 🙂 I do have a question about The Greater Good, though. My understanding is that once a unit uses a Greater Good to fire Overwatch on behalf of a unit that’s getting charged, that unit can no longer fire Overwatch, period. In the Harlequins Turn 5, the Starweaver charged the Fireblade and the unit of Fire Warriors on the left side of the rock did The Greater Good at it. Later, the Troupe charged the Fire Warriors and did Overwatch. Wouldn’t they be… Read more »

Agro 40k. Love it. Every game of 40k needs more sass and more taunting. Bring the hamster back for a tactica!

BBone, just a reminder, drones that are part of vehicles still benefit from the extra shot while being within 6″ of a fireblade. 🙂

Bones you need to make a cheat sheet with your abilities on your list for you to look at. I don’t doubt you are a good player but you just lack the ability to do commentary, be sociable, do nigel big toof shenanighans, dance, be alarmed, very alarmed and focus on the game simultaneously.

Hahahahaha great battle report! All the respect for James bringing the sass on behalf of the Hampshire Hammers, a great guest! I could feel the grudges growing throughout the game…

James is a fantastic guest – sometimes guests can struggle to keep up with the hosts’ endless trashtalk, but he’s obviously a grizzled veteran. Beautiful harlequin army too.
