Awesome bat rep. Not to sounds harsh because it is meant as a compliment, Ben is the best sport especially when losing. Bone, you are just seem to enjoy so much of the games it is really enjoyable to watch. Top marks, guys

Bone you forgot the Callidus poisoned blade attack – could have finished off Eldrad before she perished…

The Vindicare…he has so much potential but almost every game I roll a 1 to hit or wound and he whiffs hard. Often over multiple turns. Then every 3rd game or so he does something amazing and I start to think maybe he is worth it again…these Vindicares are very naughty.

Hey Bone, I try not to type here every batrep because you guys are awesome and I love this site and know this stresses some of you, but this time there were a few errors I wanna comment on, because you and Lawrence didn’t touch up on them aside from the fact that the armylist was suboptimal (I really recommend Wyverns). I know you guys play many armies for our pleasure so please understand that this comes with much love: 1.) Please put your tank commanders in deep strike. You are tallarn and you loose nothing by doing that. 2.)… Read more »

The Cullexus leaned in, Francis the Farseer felt the waves of nothingness lapping around his consciousness- the assassin leaned in, speaking in his filthy mon-keigh tongue. “Look into my eyes as you die xenos, I want to feel your gods quake in fear as you end; and when you see them, tell them Cuthbert sent you”

To The BBone, it was very nice to see you try out a newer army, for you. I have nothing to critique you on, because like you said you needed the right units, especially against Eldar cheese. However, yeah starting your anti-psyker on the board would have been the best move, like you said.

“Welcome to your doom!” Was a line from the classic sega mega drive game “altered beast”, with that awesome intro music.

Those underslung Shuriken Cannons as upgrades on Fire Prisms, Night Spinners, Falcons or Wave Serpents even, are a waste of points in my humble opinion. Investing those points into, for example, a Guardian Weapons Platform would have been far superior, but hey, that’s just me! Well played and hopefully we see some new Craftworlds models soon. Wraithguard and Wraithblades are sorely missed to be frank!
Anyway well done as usual, keep it up <3

Why does GW sell people out of date information? I recently convinced my friend to get into 40k, without my knowledge he went out and bought the rulebook and Space Marine Codex, but we quickly realized ALOT of whats in them isnt right anymore.

Are Astra Militarum doing well? It’s an interesting question. In less competitive matches I think they are solid, but I have played with Guard against marines and T’au, and just sat back and watched as my tank commanders, hellhounds, and flyers get point and click removed by turn 2. Very very squishy. Super vulnerable to Psychic too of course. So many other armies have vehicles with the FLY keyword keeping them active throughout the game, but guard tanks get tied up so easily, which can get frustrating – a problem exacerbated by how much guard have on the board, one… Read more »

Fun to watch. Thanks for putting it together. I agree about the Tallarn list not being optimised. Would it be a better option to take the punisher turrets to mitigate the natural -1 damage on the wave serpents? I think we should learn to take advantage of the line blocking terrain when it comes to using the assassins. If the Vindicare can zone out the outside lanes from the middle lane, the Culexus should be deployed to zone out psykers from the middle lane. Because in this report we could see that the mini Seer Council was left alone behind… Read more »

Bit flat today guys, Bone so dejected, Spider couldn’t even bring himself to employ his usual psychological warfare technique of laughing remorselessly at his misfortune…….

Callum. I feel like it’s a name for a very pasty faced creepy dude who lives in his mum’s basement and secretly goes out murdering people in a creepy suit. Completely unlikeable so definitely not anti-hero material.
