Couple of rules mistakes, but with those dice rolls it didn’t matter anyway, lol. That was painful to watch as a Sister enthusiast, haha. Some strategic advice regarding miracle dice. When making any form of roll, you don’t have to fast roll. You are allowed to roll one dice, look at the result, then roll the next, etc. What this means in practice is that it is often not worth it if you have multiple damage or hit rolls to make, to use a miracle dice for the first you want to roll. I think I figured it out Beard. You need more chaos when you throw.
Statistically a 1 is slightly more likely to be rerolled from another that is on the table due to dice weighting; you are being too controlled and conservative with your rolling technique, always the same scoop and dump that seems to care more about dice landing in nice places that it does the smiting of ones enemies.
Channel you inner Eisenhorne and become a radical roller. Using the tools of chaos is inevitable.

Loved the game, but that has to be the most hilariously unbalanced dice rolling I have ever seen – even in other Beard vs Spider batreps!

Beard: With those incensor cherubs the miracle dice they generate can only be used by the unit they were attached to, and expire at the end of the phase. I’m afraid they don’t just top up your miracle dice pool!
Since imposter Terry wasn’t shot at I can’t confirm how you play it but when Beard was talking about his target priorities he implied that you all play Adaptive Biology as after taking the initial wound, it’s -1 dmg for the remainder of the game. I really want GW to FAQ this because as it reads, I interpret it as any damage taken prior to the end of that phase is at full damage. This means that you have the entire phase to kill Terry prior to the -1 dmg starting. Would love it to be after the first point… Read more »
Amusingly when Beard kicked that dice I’m fairly sure it landed on a 3 which was what he needed to wound!
Does Onslaught override the Metabolic Overdrive strat? The only thing I can see in the FAQ is that you can’t charge after metabolic Overdrive no matter what.

metabolic overdrive doesn’t let you shoot afterwards. So those Hive Guard aren’t firing twice in turn one. Cheating by the spider I feel 😉 Luckily the dice gods punished him with terrible rolling for the rest of the game. Oh no wait…

Monstrous Rending Claws are really the only viable melee option on a Hive Tyrant. With so few attacks and wounding most vehicles on 5s, you absolutely need the reroll to wound.
I don’t think the hive tyrants points changed – he’s still generally overcosted but one of the best units Tyranids have unfortunately 🙁

Beard, seraphims can shoot immediately in moving phase. So they would should twice and definitely kill that 3 wound Exocrine. Great game, though, Lawrence’s probability bending powers definitely powered up today.
