That was great entertainment guys! 😀
Domino’s US refers to its version of the supreme as an Extraganzza (the spelling is intentional its a pun)
It has pepperoni, ham, beef, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives and an extra portion of the standard pizza cheese. Its basically a deluxe plus a meatzza with black olives added
Just wanted to check the CP for the Ultramarines. For the three detachments, I made that 7CP for all of them.
Just wanted to know how you got to 12CP? I’m just starting out, so wanted to try and maximise the CP my list has access to.
I LOVED this Batrep guys. Keep being awesome, and I hope all is well for you brehs and your families.
Absolutely epic. Nothing else to say but top notch report again lads! Lockdown can’t stop you producing high quality content, after all: “Only in death does duty end” 😛
This is the content I am here for 🙂
Great battle report! These ones that come down to the wire like this are so gripping to watch! I have a fledgling Thousand Sons army and watching these reports for inspiration is a great amount of fun. Seeing Magnus take the field is always awesome, and I do hope that he does get a “x wounds taken per phase maximum” type rule so that he is not immediately deleted on the first turn. Slight note on Astral Blast; from the wording of the power it seems to me that the secondary effect of 1 mortal wound to units within 3″… Read more »
I lile that with each day things are getting little bit wierder ?
Cracking report chaps! What a fitting result for this Primarch showdown. Perhaps you could do a 2 vs 1 battle report with Magnus and Mortarian vs Guilliman?
Top view is sick! One suggestion—time-lapse for the movement phase, to show movement quickly along with giving some info on the decision-making process.
More silly lists please – loving it!
I’m so glad the big guys got into combat! so often people play to win instead of having fun.. Loved this 🙂 thanks guys!
The Spider needs to run free, this channel is made up of all the personalities and how they mix and how you all play the game.
Some of the greatest games have been Spiders cheese verse BBones and BBones greatest and dare I say it sweetest wins have always been when he has triumphed over the spiders cheese.
Oh Bone! You added your points up wrong in turn 4, you got 5 points and actually won the game ?
The only thing Magnus did wrong was get over excited in warning the Emperor of Hirus’ betrayal.
As for Magnus Vs Girlyman (right at the start of this batrep guys,) if Magnus drops Girlyman he does not get back up as you change him to a spawn. But if the Primarch of the Ultramarines goes first, he should drop The Demon Prince of the Thousand sons!
Fingers crossed for Magnus.
We all know the true winner this day was Khorne haha that was epic. What a battle.
Great game and what a Rocky 2 conclusion who cares who won in the end. What a glorious duel- a thing of legends, a modern day Achilles vs Hector. Hey, I know you guys have narrative reports and recall long ago a Tallarn narrative with Beard that had a continuing story line with experience that led to upgraded units. How about an extended narrative whatever you guys desire?
Great work chaps. Do you fancy doing a tactica…… Hidden choice of armies pre game…… ITC….. Winner gets to cut losers hair? Since theres “nothing to do in quarantine” (Bone)
Very cool clash of titans! Also, the topdown-veiw was much better in this video as it lingered just long enough for me at least.
Really enjoying the laid back battle style. It’s been fun to see Bone design both armies that would have a good game against each other. See what you can do with Tyranids. Always a fan of the bugs especially against another melee horde!
That was epic! Many thanks for this really entertaining battle report.
Bone has become a Nurgle Hair Product model
Hi guys, love the reports and the addition of the top view!
One constructive criticism maybe? : Could you leave the army movement phase recap in the top view camera for a bit longer please? I find myself rewinding multiple times to see where which unit moved etc.
Like an extra second or two would do the trick imo!
Lovely content as always!
I’m only halfway through the battle report, but Lawrence did you re roll any ones within 12 on Guilliman?
Hi guys, awesome game expertly demo’d as usual, love the froth between you two makes for great entertainment – big fan all things Guilliman so the clash of the titans was epic – thx everso for keeping the fun going during lockdown, hope all u guys doin ok
I love Bone even more for being an Earthsea fan!
Great batrep. solid lists and execution to make it a fun and interesting watch. Loved the slightly less convoluted intro, aswell.
Also! I cant wait for narrative Artimes batrep, WE NEED 8th steel rain <3
Completely agree with Bone about putting wound per phase limits on the Daemon Primarch’s. I’d also consider putting them on the Greater Daemons too, if they don’t just buff them to be roughly analogous to Imperial/Chaos Knights anyway. The flip side is that I do sort of feel like it’s a stop gap solution because shooting seems too powerful though; which because they have reduced the effectiveness of cover I believe is true, but I think that would require some serious reworking of the core rules though. Or they could just roll the cities of death cover rules (I think)… Read more »
Two things, totally unrelated… firstly, it just shows how key list building is in 40k: when you get a couple of games where Bone made both lists and the games are super tight and probably the most fun I’ve seen in batreps in years. Second, the idea of knowing a true name giving power over something is very, very old. It’s probably the foundation of the story in the Bible where Jesus asks the name of the demon before casting it out of the man, and the demon replies, “my name is Legion, for we are many.” I’m such a… Read more »
I’m disappointed Lawrence didn’t embrace the Badallion!! In Bone we trust ❤️❤️
So you seem to keep running very similar Ultramarines lists, and there’s no newer Primaris goodies there (i.e. Phobos). Are you planning on expanding your Ultramarine army to include these, or is this investment going into the Obsidian Dragons?
I’d love to see an Ultramarines list with some forward pressure from Vanguard units and walkers, and some mobility from Impulsors, to see what they can do with it. Ultramarines in Tactical seems to favour a mobile, reactive play style, and I think the newer releases can work with that.
Thoughts?
We love you Bone and we want you to win!
The fight between Magnus and Big-G was epic, thats why I love this game so much. I will always prefere ”nomal” play over ITC competitive play for this reason. You just don’t have those awesome moments as often in those imo.
Ok… who here was thinking Lawrence was gonna be cheeky and unloading everything into Magnus during the first shooting phase! ? I have to say not only the above camera is awesome, but I like the victory points and command points at the end of each turn. Didn’t notice it before, so thinking it’s a new thing trying out? Keep up the great work guys!
Awesome fluffy game! Brother on brother, primarch on primarch, warlord on warlord. A bit of softening up but mostly letting the big cheeses duke it out. Fluffy lists that had competitive bits but not the majority by any means.
Fantastic batrep guys.
Epic showdown! Fantastic game as always. I’ve been running guilliman in a fun way recently. Guilliman Tiggy with veil of time and might of heroes Cassius with canticle and exhortation of rage Vitrix honor guard Primaris apothecary Primaris ancient with standard of macraage inviolate And a battalion So basically how it works is Cassius prays for canticle (+2 to charge) and puts exploding 6s on guilliman (exhortation) Tiggy casts veil and might on guilliman and the apothecary honor guard and ancient are in a repulsor tracking up behind him. When he hits combat and if everything is in place Guilliman… Read more »
Great report as always guys. Are they new shelves in the studio standing empty?
Awesome game, thank you guys!
So glad the Brothers worked it out the best way they knew how, that was mandatory!. 😉
P.S. Cheeky fresh set of cabinets for future expansion in the background?
Magnus did do wrong, like Icarus he flew too close to the sun and got his wings burned.
But far more interestingly than that, could Lawrence take him in a 1v1?
Fantastic batrep! In the past, if I saw a batrep listed between two armies I don’t have (not easy nowadays as I have 12), I would just skip it by. You guys are so entertaining, though, I can’t help but watch anyway. 😀
Thanks for the never-ending entertainment!
Bone, did you forget your gaze of fate re-roll in turn 4? You cast it but don’t recall it being used (could have saved the DP?). Great game though, very funny and entertaining as usual!
Bone, you are right! In Earthsea knowing the true name of something grants unlimited power over it! One of my favourite series ever. Now, you just have to mention Morgaine of “The Gate of Ivrel” (maybe the next time you field a Noctilith Crown) and I’ll swear unending love to you.
Magnus did nothing wrong… atleast he didnt kill LOYAL marines, following the orders from Horus…. >.<
Did the tesseract vault in the back go super nova and destroy all of the armies on the shelves!?
In a game where the Smurfs are my loyalist army and the dusty ones are my chaos, the winner is me.
Glorious match up gentlemen.
epic, bloody mind bullets, burning swords, armour full of dust n warp, massive gun birds, epic there is nothing more to say
That tash is looking pretty thick there BBone…could go down the Dixon Bainbridge route if you wanted…just saying.
What a magnificent game. I expected one moment Mr. Bone to go on an evil laughter twisting his moustache, while Mr. Baker summons flame from his hand.
One of the most entertaining ones I have watched from you. Thanks!
Traditionally topped with pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, onions, and olives, the supreme pizza combines some of the most popular pizza toppings into one delicious slice. … Some pizzerias also include mushrooms on their supreme pizza, while others include Canadian bacon for added meatiness.
