Great job Chef! You played your Tyranids very well, even more impressive as you have a limited collection to chose from! Gaunts, Zoans, Neurothrope, Exocrines, stratagems.. all playing together beautifully!

Wow. That was stressful. I think that was one of the most exciting games I’ve seen in a long while.

Absolutely incredible game guys. So good to see the ‘Nids compete! Literally no idea who was going to win right until the end. Excellent plays by both players, great to see such high level performances from you both! We are indeed lucky ducks 🤣

Great game! I know it’s an army made by fletcher but the army you are going to make needs some more chainswords!!!

Very well played Chef – great game! Nids are actually a ‘dark horse’ in the current meta albeit with some wonky builds. They have some great anti-meta units and a very nice selections of strats to support them.

Really nice game guys. Good indeed to see the Nids make a proper showing. I totally agree with you Chef, they really need to bring their A game every time just to have a chance. Annoying, but at least they’re a fun army and can play the objective game rather well.

Sure Bone you had some bad rolls, but you had some amazing rolls too, like getting all those charges in with a 10-12. The biggest surprise though was those Hormagaunts holding them up for aeons though; I’ll grant you that.

Very tzeenthy game. The dogs of Russ have lost and Magnus was nowhere to be seen… Vengeance is a dish best served cold.

Great game!
Can’t help feeling sorry for Bone though – even though Chef played it very well this really should have been a Space Wolf win with even average rolling:)

Just worked this Death guard silly list out thought I’d write it before I forgot: 14 poxwalkers 70p x3
is 210p. 21 plague marine’s in three squad’s of seven including three Blight launchers two great plague Cleavers and one plasma pistol is 496p. One Tallyman(I know not HQ gutted) 70p. Six units of seven or multiple of seven and the Tallyman is seven units is 776. If the Tallyman counts himself its 777.

Grey Hunters and Blood Claws have Ld7, even the Pack Leaders. SW must have six models in our Firstborn units if we want Ld8…

Thanks for another good Batrep folks, nice to see the good old gribblings back!
Do you think Tyrannofexes have a place in a semi-competitive list with the changes to bring it down?

The lack of 6’s in this batrep with the doctrine is outragous

Zoanthropes are awesome. Love the batrep, keep up the great work! Bone’s dances really keep us all coming back for more as well as Chef’s gamesmanship. Thank you for the laughs and fun.

Excellent battle report and delighted to finally see Nids get a W! Can’t remember the last time they did on the channel.

Chef keep pushing for those Dimachaerons! They’re fantastic and hit how monsters should hit.

Chef I just want to say how much I appreciate the “extra” scenes after the credits and all the other goofy stuff you’ve been throwing in.
Im sure it’s killing you inside 😛 but I love it.

Lmao, was it just me or did our favorite neighborhood editor edit out a section of Bone’s list presentation after the word “Badallion”? Subtle, but it was there… I think somebody was cooking up something in the kitchen 😉 Great stuff as always guys, love to see the Nids hang with the big bad Marines!

REally fun close game I was hoping for some nids today actually. Any chance of a nids vs Tau batrep? I know both the nids and the Tau aren’t in the best spot so they may end iup being a good matchup.

Thank you both for the game!

Bone have you won with the Space Wolves yet? It makes me sad as a Wolves player haha. Are the wolf models limited for studio use the lists always seem to be very similar.

Entertaining as always guys, a nice way to get on with housework on a Saturday morning On the topic of luck/poor rolling/”it’s a dice game” etc., I would really like to see some analysis in a future tactica of how to mitigate this. There’s a lot you can do to play around dice rolling and almost remove that variance from the game both in terms of playing the mission and list building. Once you start looking at your units almost as limited resources that can be spent, much like cp except different, then the 9th edition play style really starts… Read more »

Good game guys. Personally I am hoping that when tyranids do get their book, the swarms will feel like endless swarms, maybe just getting back some every turn. Ie in your command phase each unit of termagaunts, hormagaunts or gargoyles gets 2d6 extra models

Yeees! Amazing batrep, good to see you back more often chef. I think everyone who is not a wolf player was rooting for the nids ! Good job, these are the fun games to watch, when it is decided in the last turn!
