Big blunder in World eaters turn 2 :Why didn’t warhipster pop angels sacrifice to make it so the bezerkers had to fight the captain and couldn’t fight the death company on the first round of combat allowing the death company to interrupt and pick up the disco lord and the bezerkers?
Great banter and enjoyable game regardless
The Kytan does not get extra attacks from being a World Eater because he is in a Super Heavy Auxiliary Detachment and those never gain Detachment abilities.

Did you get the bottom of the sanguinor rules? I can’t see anything that says you couldn’t put it in engagement range of a non charging unit, especially as it counts as heroic intervention which would let you. If he had come down next to the knight thingy you could have played angel’s sacrifice and saved more of the DC
Aaaawww, Dante gets to do a free epic deeds strat (ie. fight on dead) so the two CP could have been spend elsewhere:(
Anyway, Nice game – love to see BA although the BA list wasnt very competetive for a league-game imho… intercessors are very points inefficient and usually something you avoid rather that spam…
Thumbs up! Hard game for the blood angels, against all those tin cans to pop with mostly s4 – 6 as the tool to do it with :S death company are just impressive though… aswell as normal berserkers with reroll support 😉

dante gets a free epic deeds strategem. He would have got to fight on death for free. Letting him spend the 2 cp for the assault intercessor interrupt. Don’t forget Dante inferno pistol as well, He would maybe have killed the disco lord.

World eaters were my first army way back in 3rd edition and the Blood angels were my second army and the ones who brought me back to the hobby in 9th so my loyalties are torn!
I see that Tzeetch is the favoured of your Berserker Squads…. I mean 9 all around. Way to confuse the gods!

This show got me into World Eaters. 2200 points of brass trimmed chaos later, I have no regrets! Always a pleasure to see the XIIth legion on the table!
