I’m not a chaos fan, but I want the iron warriors to win just to see Beard playing the game in that thing.
Slightly disappointed someone didn’t turn the difficulty setting up to legendry and play Genestealer Cults. Lol
Very excited for this! I like the variety of armies and having to stick to your list.

So nice to hear your take on sticking with and learning to use all dimensions of an army, and totally agree – not just in highly competitive 40K, but even the meta-chasing creeping into more casual play. Looking forward to the league and bat reps!

First of all: GREAT news i’m very much supporting this. Regarding the mentioned Wracks: if you ask me it would be enough if you have like 10 Haemoxytes and lets say 1 or 2 bigger flocks (up to 20) of Wracks with some variaty/magnetized weapon options. That would be more than enough to play some cool mix lists with the subfactions given. What about live streaming the final? I know a hell of a lot of time and effort go into the edits and the making of the video but would live streaming the final be considered?

Please tell me that part of the episodes or extra episodes will be the evolution of the armies. Hopefully there will be a discussion about any changes made and why. I very much want to know how you come up with the first iteration and the thoughts that go into each change and each unit that becomes a must have. I can’t wait for it to start. Thank you so much!

Really pleased with the new format, but utterly gutted there are no Eldar, IG, Knights, or Daemons in the matchups. Oh well maybe next year. In the meantime just gonna have to shout for the Fleshtearers… they are, after all, really just Drukhari in power armour.
Little bit sad nobody is playing space elves but other than that this is great news!

So keen for this iteration of the League! Love the new change to locked in factions as it will be great to see how the lists evolve after every game. You could even run it as a separate mini side show where you do short clips on the changes they have made after your experiences. I personally would find it really interesting seeing how you guys decide and adapt your lists as the league goes on. Love the work everyone!
Gents, I have no interest in the tournament scene as it currently stands. I remember hearing a story about someone (who’ll remain nameless) painting up their third Maleceptor in the back of the car on the way to the tournament. That sucks.
But if YOU ran a tournament, with some of the ideas you’ve mentioned here… I’d be interested 👍

Another question…will you set up another live-session for the players to speak briefly about the armies not the list in particular, but why they play the army as you could say “their way of the league” and maybe we can place some bets on the players during the session 😉 would be amazing!
We, the tabletop tactics community, understand and accept the fact that a more competitive format might result in a 3 turn game. It’s ok. Question: is the league going to have a unified stance on #nocpreroll or will it be left to the individual player?

That is a great way! I love it – get the most out of it, great. I personally only take Deathwatch as a competitive choice and its not meta breaking…but I have fun and I learn a lot!

I’m glad to see Lawrence take the Flesh Tearers, but also torn because the glorious perfection of the Emperor’s Children won’t be appearing. Maybe next season. Next Season Beard can face the Emperor’s Children with the new codex World Eaters (with a god-tier, Fletcher painted Angron of course.)
For these Leagues are you allowing Legends? No Jumppack Chaos Lord is so silly…

My 2 leagues I am in right now are like that. List locked unless you loose. And when you loose you can only change list within your faction , not allowed to take another faction. Makes the league so much better. So I am very excited to see how yours turn out! Even better than everyone else I can assume !
