I have no idea what I just watched. But I need more of it. More Orks!
I’d have a go with Death Guard I think! 3 Bloat Drones with Sprayers, 2x 6 Deathshroud with Lord of Virulence in each for more spraying and rerolls ranged wounds, and Typhus as my cherry on top! Between ranged and melee, might be able to make a dent!

Anyone else bothered by the fact that lasguns and bolters are equally effective vs orks?
I guess the new Tau with lots and lots of burst cannons and blasters might have a good chance of killing more than 60. But obviously hard to say without points.

I think I can beat it in a 1000pts with a mixture of Arco-Flagellants, Penitent Engines and Preachers but it looks like you had a blast making the video which is more of the point 🙂

So I did a little bit of math. Being a black templar player. 70 primaries crusaders all equipped with melee weapons. Using the Uphold the Honour of the Emperor vow. 70 heavy bolt pistol / pistol hits hitting on 3s wounding on 5s. Which would translate to roughly 16 wounds. Which would result in 11 Orks dead in shooting 280 hits hitting on 3s wounding on 5s, damage 1 42 hits hitting on 3s wounding on 3s, damage 2 Would translate roughly to 62 wounds at damage 1 19 wounds at damage 2. How many Tau Breachers can you get for that many points? Asking for a friend. Actually, your should have brought Fletch and his kroot army in for this. They may have stood a chance.
What about max breacher + Fireblade combo and star scythes? Any of Mont’ka, retaliation (for the star scythes) or kauyon might work….

Deathwatch I think can do this on paper. Three Proteus KTs (yes, I know they’re 360 points but for the sake of this experiment we’ll ignore the fact that they’re 100 points overcosted based on their constituent components and just call it “close enough”) in the Sustained doctrine, and with two under the effect of Hellfire SIA, will on average kill or cripple three full Boyz blobs. I would suggest melee is the answer, 1000pts of drukhari skysplinter could get 3 incubi blobs in raiders with archons and lelith. Thats 90 attacks rerolling all hits and wounds wounding on 4s with the incubi, then the archons attacks, lelith, and disintegrators from the raiders. You could expect to kill about 80-85 orks, wiping 4 squads. This is impressive given that all the incubi damage 2 is wasted. Its still not enough to kill all the orks in one turn but youd be in a decent position. Plus one incubi blob could reembark to avoid the hit back. What… Read more »

A Key…. if you lock the cabinet they could not get to the table….
3 double Battle Cannon Knight Despoilers might do some work – at half range that’s 4d6+12 shots per Knight, plus the extra shots from the Heavy Stubbers. Probably won’t kill more than half the Orks but at 36″ away at least you aren’t getting charged until you’ve had 2 turns of shooting hopefully!

Hear me out on this one! I think Blood Angels actually have a good shot at this using the Sons of Sanguinius detachment. 3 units of 10 Jump Intercessors (with 5 attacks each @ S6 on the charge, 4@ S10 with the sergeant) and 6 units of 5 regular assault intercessors (same profile) costs 960 points! That’s a theoretical 255 attacks at S6, and 36 attacks at S10. Both profiles being nearly perfect for ork boyz!
