Love it. Nice little thematic detachment that has some bite but, leans into narrative flavour more than competitive play.

Oh Beard, you’re spot on with how good +1 toughness could be army-wide. Bile himself gives his attached unit +1 strength and toughness, so we could be taking Bile, a Master of Executions and a full 10 man squad of Chosen all at T6 🤣 Throw that damage and hit re-rolls enhancement on the MoE and now its a party!

I think this looks great. Of course I will always opt for the 2d6 random version because it’s fun.
And I will always be taking Bill because he’s just so fabulous.

All 4 of my factions have had their detachment now and I’m a pretty happy boy. Out of all of them I think my favourite so far is Ad Mech. It’s not going to dominate the meta but it’s fluffy and fun and I am here for it. This one is a close second.

I really hope they do this every edition. I love bile and a lot of the other factions and have few models of each but I have no real incentive to fill out those ranges and buy codex, cuz you don’t know if and when you will get rules for it again. It is like agents the codex sucks but at least we have now and hopefully for the foreseeable future. Way better than just a hodge poge of models that don’t really fit any where.
