The Dark Mechanicum Rises.

Within the depths of the hell-forge, the renegade tech priests and cursed magi prepare a weapon of unimaginable devestation.  Blasphemous warriors, engines of destruction and foul transgenic creations spew forth from the bio forges and flesh works of the arch-heretek. As warpcraft and corrupt science conjoin to appease the dark ommnisiah, word is received from the imperium of this new threat, and a combined response is activated. The unstoppable force of three space marine chapters is unleashed on this hellscape as the Imperial Fists, Obsidian Dragons, and the Blood Angels bring death to the heretics.  Led by Lord Commander Dante, they must wade through oceans of mutated bio-weapons and unrelenting daemon engines to destroy the doomsday device before it can be unleashed upon the galaxy. Have Dante and his angels of death arrived in time to stop the dark mechanicum, or will the hell-forge consume them all to quell its insatiable hunger…

This is the Doomsday mission from Imperium Nihilus: Vigilus Ablaze.

The Doomsday device of the Dark Mechanicum is located in their deployment zone in a fortified position and must be defended.  when the Space Marines attack it, they will hit automatically.  It has a Toughness characteristic of 20, but no armour save, no wounds characteristic and cannot be destroyed…however, it can take up to 20 wounds per battle round, but can be repaired by Dark Mechanicum units within base to base contact during their shooting phase as an action.

If the doomsday device has lost 5 wounds at the end of a battle round it loses a structure point, and if it loses 4 structure points by the end of the battle, it suffers a meltdown and the space marines will be victorious.

I’ve gotta say I’ve been loving the Brad/Bread combo these past few months. They have just been bringing the craziest lists and every game has been a blast. But I do need more Jinx/Lawrence videos. That Old World report was the best report I’ve seen in a while.
