The Ultramarines deploy with flawless discipline, ceramite ranks locking into place as bolters are checked and firing lanes measured. Guilliman’s sons bring the full weight of Codex doctrine to bear, determined to impose order through superior strategy and controlled aggression.
But this is no ordinary Necron awakening.
Reality itself fractures as four C’tan shards stride onto the battlefield – living gods of the ancient Necrontyr, their presence warping the air and dimming the light of distant stars. At their head comes the Nightbringer, death given form once more, its shadow stretching across the field as mortal courage is tested. Gauss fire hisses and crackles behind them as Necron legions advance, unfeeling and eternal, their god-shards carving through matter and morale alike.
Tactical brilliance clashes with cosmic horror. Can the Ultramarines’ discipline and firepower bring down beings that once slew gods and devoured suns, or will the C’tan reap the battlefield clean of life? Order faces oblivion in this clash of mankind versus living nightmares.

Those Ultramarines look BEAUTIFUL!! Im a painting nerd 🙂
While the game was fun overall, it mainly that because of some crazy turns.
With that written, I kind of hate this C’Tan detachment. It just feels like a massive drag.
Fletcher’s painting (especially the ultras) is JUST SO FLIPPIN GOOD!
I’m in absolute awe
Amazing to see these amazing models painted by Fletcher on the board. Good job!
But please don’t let Bard play Ultramarines anymore 😱 not sure why you have 4 invulnerable save if you are not able to roll more than 1,2&3s 🤦🏻♂️ and on the other side of the board all 4,5&6s 😂😂😂
