Loved the live chat, missed it live but will look for more. I know the recent hate lol, Ive played Imperial Fists since 3rd and they never had their own codex or much in the way of characters or rules and now everyone looks at you like a bandwagon jumper lol. Soon as I pull out the original rhinos and predators they believe me again lol.
I only caught some of the live feed as it was happening and it really lifted my spirits to know so many of us in the community were watching at the same time. Keep up the great work at TTT….its a huge boost to every ones morale. Thank you !!!!!!!

Hi TT gang, Firstly thanks for the continued content in these times! Hope you guys are well. Question, Have you ever thought about the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game by GW? Im a big fan of the system and the turn sequences. I believe it has some aspects that you mentioned would be great for 40k! All the best!

I enjoyed this. Thank you. One of these a month would be nice, The painting and chatting idea was nice in theory. If you want to just talk on one subject it might work, but answering diverse questions and doing something else is tough. I am also in the paint-brush licking club, but I was reminded of the workers who got mouth cancer from licking the brushes that put the luminescence on watches back in the day, It was radioactive, but they weren’t told 🙁 . For my money, the issues with 8th edition are to do with the structure of the game at this point. It’s still the “one wound represents the amount of damage a person can take before being unable to fight”, playerturn/playerturn system that worked fine in 2/3rd editions as a skirmish game*. But now we’ve dropped Line of Sight rules almost entirely and terrain means almost nothing. You mentioned your intention of purchasing and painting Immolators for the new Sisters Army. As a long time sisters player who has shelved all of my immolators, please don’t go down that path. It went from an iconic bread and butter unit to being the worst thing in the codex. I’m only saying this out of concern for how much work you may put into an army that won’t perform the way you want it to. Honestly pick literally anything else for your army and it will do better.

As someone else mentioned, i really enjoy painting to these long format “sit and chat” style videos. Another plus for these videos – no editing required! Beard coming back full time is super exciting! Age of Sigmar coming along is also very interesting. My family and I are starting our own “escalation” league during the pandemic starting each with a “Start Collecting!” box. So seeing you guys play AoS sounds like a lot of fun. P.s. it might be just me, but I would really like a revamp of the skitarii… when I see the models near my new sisters of battle it’s just sad, they should be killer cyborgs but they look just like little critters.

Have to say although I enjoy watching 40K but I find playing it a bit of a mission, remembering all the rules and first turn can be harsh for someone like me that brings more of a fun list. I do however really enjoy Age of Sigmar and look forward to you guys picking it up and seeing what you can do.
