This was a really good game. I liked both lists, much better without the repulsors. Yes the infantry are open to shoot but when there are so many in gravis plus the go-carts you’ll always have something left.
For chef i feel you had a good balance of some board control with 6 units of troops and the raiders. I think wrath of Mars was close to average. With 18 shots you should get ~2.7 per bot and i think you got 7 from 3 versus 8.2.
Really great game guys, although your nerves are shredded and your brain may have melted, 40k is at its best when the mission is hard for both armies and it goes to turn 5. Keep up the amazing work.

That was sweaty watching. Not necessarily the most entertaining from a spectacle POV (I live for the combat) but from a technical one – really engrossing. Lovely stuff guys.
Basically Bone should never use Eradicators, only he can make one of the best units in the game look awful 🤣
Wiffathon! What a great game. Shows why should always play on and don’t throw in the towel. Thought Bone’s list was a bit dull and one dimensional but that showed me!

Fantastic game, love a 5-turn nail biter. Great to see a variety of chapters on the channel – would be cool to see a Raven Guard list (well…successors) at some point, they’ve got some pretty fun shenanigans!

One quick (n00b) question: how does the Ironstrider qualify for ‘While we stand, we fight’ when Cawl and the 4 Kastelan Robots are all higher points/model, and the objective refers only to the three highest point value models?
Thought it was going to be a short one, but turned out to be a great match – a good lesson in not giving up, no matter how the first turn or two play out.

I don’t see how you can not suffer a -1 to hit with those Ironstriders when they fired at the Invaders at about 1:30 in when those Invaders suffered a -1 To hit when they fired at the Rangers a turn earlier. I mean, obviously both players decided that they could or couldn’t and all that, it just seemed they would. As to the game, it was pretty awesome, thanks gents. “let us know what you would change in the lists” Theory crafting is the best thing about strategy games, 😀 I don’t know much about the ad mech, so, focusing on marines. I think this game shows how forward deployment and reserve help get the most out of terrain. For example, 2+ incursor/infiltrator unit’s, deployed last, might add tactical flexibility. Further, I would consider devastators. 10 can be deployed as one squad, or split up, 2 heavy weapons in each, or as a tactical + heavy weapons squad. But I could be wrong, and it was a great game.

Awesome resilience from the salamanders would of been even harder to shift with an apothecary in there
I’d love to see a Vulkan hestan in there to improve efficiency on one of the flamer/melta units

First off, fantastic batrep, love seeing a game go to turn 5.
One criticism is that the video quality looked really off compared to normal. Almost like the resolution got downgraded. Watched it on the app, site and YouTube and noticed the same thing everywhere.

As always the robots are completely underwhelming for their points. I know you rolled poorly for Wrath of Mars, but thats part of the issue where they are the same as Oblits where without a very specific faction rulse and then a strategem and if all of that goes to plan and the dice rolls are with you they can get their points back. Otherwise they are just a massive points sync. OH!!! I see what’s going on! Stig is working in the shadows like a good Stygies accolite and converting all TTT crew to the one true faction, AdMech! Wow what a great game, all the swings were had & boy were they big ones. Excellent play by both of you, well done to Chef using the Admech, I find myself sometimes being slightly overwhelmed as there is a lot going on within the army to remember everything but you managed it spot on. Fantastic come back yourself Mr.Bone, despite the harsh turn 2 bad luck train you managed to stay on the tracks & push through to the end of the line.
