Is also add that rolling dice in the long tray as seen from top down camera just means you can see what’s on the dice.

Can we not go back to a single dice tray on a zoomed in camera shared by the lads. Like Titans? Also not a neoprene base layer to stop dice jumping like Mexican jumping beans.

The dice rolling being missed out made this quite a jerky disjointed bat rep. Great game otherwise. Thanks guys. If you want to speed up the Video then try it like winters.

Awesome!!!

However… was that Beard making a film joke? 😮 😮

OOOOOOOOF! That was an amazing game. Thanks so much, Beard and Chef! I wasn’t sure about the summarising of the dice rolls to begin with, but I’ve changed my mind – I like it. Keep doing it please.

Does Beard ever roll anything but a 1 for the initiative 😛

Excellent game! Summarizing some rolls in order to inject some more interplay between the players really helps ramp up the entertainment factor to me. I’m hoping to see more of this approach in the future!
I’m also glad to see some reshuffling of Masque usage. Still looking for that Silent Shroud game and/or using the Luck of the Laughing God warlord trait in conjunction with a Neuro-disruptor, but this is an appreciated start!

listening to sanga say “mission pack” is equivalent to Roger Moore saying “cellar door”. Exquisite.

About skipping dice rolls: Do a poll. I personally prefer they are skipped unless critical, but who knows what the great unwashed masses think.

You should make it part of your process of writing down your secondary objectives, to include the category in the name (e.g. “No Mercy, No Respite: Grind Them Down”).

Or at least Beard should 😃

I always find it funny how since GW invented these “super mega powerful” gun names for copyrighting reasons, no one can remember any of them because they just get more and more generic. I always remember Bone struggling with the “impulsor? Repulsor? Excelsior?” As key evidence of this.

Oh my goodness… This was the best report I’ve seen since I joined. Awesome matchup.
So excited that Beard won, not throwing shade but it’s been a while since I saw him win a game. Awesome match fellas and great job Beard!

Sounds like something that needs a # in front of it.

Amazing game . Lots of fun.
Great work as usual.

love the cutting of dice rolls id rather watch 2 trimmed down reps then 1 with all the trimmings and maybe the live streaming games will scratch the itch for people who want to see every roll …dont forget people inherently fear change so stick with it

Sanger did an amazing job on Uriel Ventris but now whenever I see him I’ll think of the Doom Marine because it’s a shocking similarity.

amazing game!!! feel like beard is getting to go grips with the boys in blue. Also love seeing chef run the murder clowns, a well painted harlequinns army is so rare to see since it takes like 10000 hours to paint and highlight those pesky checks. Super excited for the new member of the team to be introduced too

Amazing game! Really glad for Beard there, but why did you not roll the combat on the last Weaver? Beard may have tabled?!

Here’s my input about skipping dice rolls: I prefer seeing everything, but if it saves you guys time no worries.

However, I personally think it would be much better if you consistently announced it before the cut (you did sometimes).

Like saying “we’ll do these bolters off camera” – cut – “okay they did two wounds” rather than sweeping across the battlefield and saying “oh yeah, half that unit’s dead now to shots from x and y”

Blinder of a game!
Beard’s response to the Repulsor guns during the army rundown, and how you handled it during the game is why I still haven’t added one to my Marines… too many dang guns to remember!

I personally didn’t agree with the trimming of some rolls at first but after reviewing some of the comments, I think it’s perfectly fine. There is the jeopardy of missing a complete wiff or unexpected (not in spiders case) mass of 6s rolled but I suppose that’s something we can live with. Personally I don’t see you all as people I buy a product from, like a faceless corporation. I want you guys to have fun doing what you, burn out is definitely a thing, being a nurse I’ve seen it happen a lot. So anything that gives you guys… Read more »

I felt physical pain watching some of those chef rolls. This was yet another game that made me wish the Solitaire was any good.

Wow! Nail biter. Best battle report in a while IMO. Limited data set so far but the GT terrain is making for interesting games. The alpha strike getting blown off the board was a real downer so loving all this LOS blocking terrain.

Incredible game! Great to spend a few hours watching while high as a kite on post-op painkillers. “I’m beyond needing a lie down, so I’ll just stand up” has really tickled me – chuckled out loud and now my fiancée is giving me strange looks

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m in a bit of a mood to see some space elves pasted from one end of the table to the other. This morning just has that kind of vibe to it.
Edit: Well, that was a great game, regardless of “real” points. Very well played both of you.
