Man that was a tense game! Amazing playing by chef at the end; you did the XVth proud!
Why use obscuring terrain if you can smite thru first floor windows @Chef?
At the end of the game when Morty could herocial interven Magnus and may pile in upwards (to the mission point), killing Magnus and consolidat to the Tzangor but parallel to the Mission point … so beard could point in his turn and win the game ?

I just want to see, AT LEAST, the 4 Daemon Primarchs of Chaos. so now all Geedubs needs to do is put out an Angron and Fulgrim daemon model and we’ll be perfect! then Lorgar and Perturabo can come out later.
Great game guys. Can anyone on here answer a couple thousand sons question’s for me? Off to the LGT soon and would rather be sure of my rules before going The stratagem unwavering phalanx reduces the damage characteristic by 1 for incoming attacks to the affected unit. My question is so a damage 2 weapon it becomes a damage 1 weapon and therefor do you get the benefits of all is dust? Very strange question here but would you be able to tell me the colours you used for the large red and blue(ish) ruins? I’ve recently bought the same ruins and really like the way these are painted.
Great game. I think DG still have the edge overall but I’d rather use T Sons any day of the week.

I hope you play some more Thousand sons games! They are a great army, I’ve been enjoying them quite a bit. It takes quite a few games to start to really get the hang of it, that’s for sure.
Yeeeah ! Great batrep, but the highlight was still Beard citing the Octonauts.
As for the best Primarch, I guess we will need to put Bobby G in the ring. It’s been a while since we have seen Bobby & Tiggy on the show.

I loved the 1K sons list, I’ve been toying around with a 3 Cult list of Duplicity/Scheming/Change all patrols
The duplicity is for objective snagging and shenanigans, while I take advantage of the Warlord trait of Scheming to run a 10 man of SoT, and the cult of change seems to have good specialty things all around, and can really increase the survivability of your guys in combat by removing 1 attack characteristic from whoever they are fighting.
Hexfire sold out so stupidly quickly im not convinced they actually made the box. I was never able to add it to the cart within Australia when it came online.

What a great game. I don’t think Magnus will be competitive at 450 points due to the fact that any kind of real AT in a list will melt him. They should have gave him the only 3++. If they drop him to like 400, maybe, but right now he just takes up to many points. Chef you should try the hellbrutes. With the 5++ they and -1D they are pretty surviviable (well if you manage to make a 5++ lol). I like them with LC and Scourge. Great game. Good to see my dusty boys in good shape. What do you think about a battle-phsyker in Terminator Armour with the stave of abominus? If he is swelled by the warp he pumps out 12 S9 attacks, AP -1, damage 1, hitting on 2s. With a combi-melta he costs 120 points. Better than a kick in the teeth.
I’ve been playing Thousand Sons recently trying to wrap my head around the new book. So far my takeaway has been really positive! @Chef: I’m sure you’ve seen others talking about it online, but if you’re going to try a 10 man squad in Thousand Sons it should absolutely be a 10 man squad of Scarab Occult Terminators IMO. When paired with an Infernal Master for the +1 strength to ranged weapons pact and the “Wrath of the Wronged” stratagem, they re capable of INCREDIBLE damage. That was an absolute belter of a league game, really enjoyed watching it. Beard and Chef on fine form as usual presenting! Thousand Sons look really interesting now, Magnus as well seems like a bit of a beast and not too op which is always nice. Some great changes to the army though and nice to see them give Death Guard a close game despite Chefs best attempts to kill it with his rolling..
I don’t know if you have got one now but I have got the hexfire set however I don’t play thousand sons so I would a happy to donate the Infernal Master and the rest of sons if you would like them

Nice to see the two Demon Primarchs! Seeing them on the field is as always impressive. I am a little conflicted about having other Primarchs in the game, I would like to have a bunch of them both as demon and as returning imperial ones, but the fine line between useless and too strong is always risky. I don’t know if TS are balanced or not, I don’t know nearly enogh about them so I’ll wait and see how they’ll perform in the next tournments. oooh this is going to be good. For something I’d like to see, i know you aren’t a fan chef, but i’ve been enjoying a cheeky bit of hero hammer with having ahriman, an exalted sorcerer, exalted master, and 2 terminator sorcerer thralls Instead of magnus, i actually think a couple of rhinos and a big blob of cultists is nothing to be sniffed at either.
There are so many opportunities with this new book, they just aren’t quite where you would expect to look for them…
