Hemlocks reduce damage by one. Not sure that would have mattered when it died

Oh Beard, no offence, but that wasn’t a pretty outing for the Sisters. Sisters don’t really want to go first, I generally find, because their range isn’t long enough to do serious damage in T1. By moving all forward you really exposed yourself for a massive counter hit, which happened. Losing Celestine and your retributors in Lawrence’s turn was just too much of a blow to come back from :(. A bit better positioning (and remembering your AS rules 😉 would help a lot here. Also, Moment of Grace is one of the best stratagems in the Sisters book and… Read more »

Ulthwé is my latest painting project, so it is good to see them on the table. Also, you guys made me spend hundreds of dollars to make a good looking table as you have, and as I live in Brazil it is not a good thing! Hahahaha. Thank you so much for the good time and for the company in my hobby time. Can we get an app feature where Beard says the names of units and stratagems, so we can use that on our games? Imagine, instead of my boring voice it would be: “I will spend a CP… Read more »

Really wanted to see the sisters come out on top today! Super gutted they didn’t. I really like argent shrouds ability to advance and remain stationary in shooting. Shame your retributors didn’t get chance to show off. I do wonder if Castigators would be a better take as they are more durable and deadly at a distance.

Either way, great to watch ❤️

Two of the most fun factions to watch and Tempest to boot! This is going to be a great one.

I‘m here for the Ulthwé, but it‘s always a pleasure to hear Beard‘s renditions of unit names too. May the Cellestial Sad Croissants fight valiantly!

Hey, just wanted to ask if you could try out some Fireprisms, I know you have 3 of them, but they haven’t seen play ever since the codex dropped, the ability to flat-out nuke an enemy centerpiece is so good in the current meta. Also, there’s an interesting combo going around, Basically a Farseer with Kurnous’ Bow and Mark of the Incomparable Hunter taken in Hail of Doom custom Craftworld giving you a potent way to dish out MW like no tomorrow. Basically, when you use EITHER auto-6 to hit or wound it deals 2 MWs, with 3 auto-6’s to… Read more »

What a great game and finally a Craftworld battrep at that. Really happy to see Ulthwe doing great, it’s definitely my favorite Craftworld out there. As for a competitive play, I’d argue that it’s a toss-up between Ulthwe and Hail of Doom/Mobile Fighters custom one. Eldrad is a beast, 6++ allows to use auto-save on things that don’t have an invulnerable save, 5+ against MW is very nice in the current meta, and rerolling one wound is game-changing when used on Bright Lances/Fire Prisms. But even then, retaining an extra Fate dice from WT is great too.

Just starting, but my goodness your terrain has really been on point lately. This board is gorgeous – it’s thematic, cohesive, full, has thoughtful LoS without looking too gamey. And that narrative thousand sons warp table from a few weeks back? Hit after hit. As someone who is slowly building a table, I would love to see some content about how you’re building some of these, which pieces you love, which are unexpectedly tricky and why.

Hey there, I am kinda new. Is it a running gag that they call the Seraphim Sepharim?

Great game guys! @Beard remember your Repentia still get a 6+ Invuln from Shield of Faith before you take your 5+ FNP rolls! (not that it would’ve made a difference where I saw it come up 🙂 ). I always used to forget it but it can make even Repentia more durable than you’d expect.

Beard!!! Please don’t consistently forget the argent shroud rerolls. They add up over the course of a battle, particularly when you forget to do them basically the ENTIRE battle. But i do love your work.

Yay, Lawrence is playing again and not his Slaaneshi scum (want his Drukhari though!).
