P. S. even in super casual games, please use the strats that are available, marines already have an uphill battle into the 9th Ed books 😂

In regards to paying for Abaddons WLTs – you only pay 1 CP for him, and unlock all three of them, as stated at the bottom of a Warcom article.
** Importantly, though you must now pay 1CP each for a Warlord Trait and a Relic, Warlords that gain multiple Warlord Traits – such as Mortarion – still only pay 1CP in total.
Edit: Nevermind, saw Chefs comment in the Emps. Children video that you are aware of it.
The edits/ shooting sequences are very cool.

Amazing game!!! I gotta say though, Abbadon and Guilliman are so far away one of each other….GW should at least try to compensate the main characters…Abbadon can kill a primarch in one turn and Abbadon just gets 3 wounds 😱😱😱so many attacks, powerful, re-rolls, desengaging, shooting and fighting again??? This is just crazzy…regardless, fun to watch and good work guys!

Legionaries not Legionaires. Legionaires fight in the French Foreign Legion. Legionaries describes the soldiers of Imperial Roman. Please not that Chaos Marines belong to the Legions – so they are Legionaries. Please get it right!
Beard’s suit appears to be Black Watch tartan. Not quite Black Legion but appropriate formal Chaotic Scotsman energy.

Poor Bobby, let’s hope in Codex 2.0. Magnus and Mortarion will have to wait another edition probably.
I`m happy for my fellow Chaos Marine players. The new codex seems fun and not broken. Love the chonky scenery and the pew pew effects.
On a sidenote: How about a tour of the studio? I want to see the Servoskull station, the painting room etc.
I have to say, I really really like the weapon firing effects (is that new? If not, why have I not noticed this before?)

I really really hate to be that gal because linguistic prescriptivism is cringe, but the plural of legionnaire is [legion-air-ee-s]. [legion-airs] is a pulmonary disease caused bu inhalation of aerosolised water containing the legionella bacteria. Thoroughly enjoyed the batrep and I’m so excited for chaos week!
I missed the movement panel you guys used to do after the movement phase, just for keeping track of where everything is.
I REALLY like the shooting/psychic top down overlay for both the graphics and for getting a birds eye view of the entire battlefield.
Also, I can’t support your choices with the GT pack stuff more. Half CP but house ruling the Warlord trait cost is a decision Grandfather Nurgle would approve of.
Knew Abadon would slap Guilliman. He is so under welming now. Even a human sister of battle can one shot him. :/

It’s also awesome to see how Katie and James improve as players, editing videos, etc., and progress “in career.” The new painting tutorials are just another great addition to have Fletcher engage on the channel. This game was incredibly fun to watch. I loved it so much
not a big fan of the GT pack CP rules -> not a fan of it getting taken over into non-league games. It just makes lists more boring since situational traits and relics become deadweight & any FW unit with a CP tax that’s not OP gets damned to rot on the shelf. If someone does not want to spend any CP pregame, that’s fine but I heavily dislike that the option has been taken from players (especially since some codices are balanced around using CP for traits/relics/multiple detachments to get stuff like specialist mobs.

Love the visuals of what unit is shooting what enemy unit, I’m often painting and not always looking at my screen all the time so this helps bring back understandng =)

James! No stratagems, no CP rerolls, why are you trying so hard to lose? Bobby G could have fought on death, Tigerius could have used Transhuman just as a lot of intercessors and blade guards. Losing the game while having 7 CPs left is kinda stupid, especially considering you regenerate them 5+. Not using stratagems got too far. A great battle report, great to see CSMs updated to be a real menace, the only thing is probably Abby is a bit too strong, especially for armies without psychic support.
