Gentlemen, I can’t understand adding Hits to a “pool” that are saved for later. I’ve read the rules so many times and am feeling like I might be crazy. Could anyone please point me in the right direction? 🤦🙏
When the Warboss shot up the Devilfish he used his Sluggas and Combi-Weapon. If you use pistols, you can’t fire non-pistol weapons also I thought.

Helluva of a rollercoaster for a Tau fan) First impression – at last Tau is back! The Curse of 9 is lifted and we are again on tracks. Tottaly understands why they were rare guest, not fun to play with codex that have only one good build, anything beyond that just cant commit enough to justify its cost (Sad broadside noises) Tau vs Orks classic lore matchup is always a pleasure to watch. Tau works as intended and as they have always done. Cannot play missions at all and dont have enough fire power to delete everything. And as soon as something connects with your battle line the Tau just evaporate. Why change something that has not worked since 4th edition =)

With that ” ‘ALLOOW IT’S ME, CHEF” in the beginning I thought for a moment you were trying to wake up a supposedly resting Norwegian Blue.
I’ve run Boosta Blastas since 8th, their mortals on the charge and 4 flamers always meant they were great. Obviously different now but damn that -1 to hit makes them a great thing to have. Never leave home without 2.
T’au are now pure garbage and that’s shows more and more at each battle report. Not good at shooting things down anymore, and still (maybe even worse) pretty lame for mission. don’t know where they goes in this 10th edition but sure not in good places.
Thrilled to see what’s they will do with the admech codex to see if there is any future for shooting army.

Weird game. What I have seen from the tau in this game and others, is that they are great at annihilating the other army, even with bard’s rolls, but they struggle for primary points. Possibly need throwaway units, like piranhas, to go and grab stuff.
When does the uprising in the name of the four armed emperor happen Chef?!
Strike Teams and Breacher Teams have the MARKERLIGHT keyword by default Bard. You always get to ignore cover then they’re the Observer unit without needing to take a Marker Drone!
This was a really entertainment watch, really fun energy and big swings and whiffs either side. Good job guys

I’ve heard grumbles before that the gray studio army does not live up to Fletchers sexy red Tau host, but I have to say i absolutely love the gray color scheme. So utilitarian and Tau!

Bard you understand why you lost right? You spent a good minute and a half in the faction focus gushing about him AND you were going against orks…….and you didn’t bring Farsight. Honestly you should have conceded there and then when you built the list mate XD. Real talk though was an interesting bat rep though a little on the depressing side for a Tau player like myself. I’m going to be a bit sour here, and maybe not representative on the first bat reps, but eh what a surprise Tau are so bad! As expected with the index. Waiting turn 3 to do anything is just a death sentence especially on a gun line that cant put pressure capturing the midfield.
Chef didn’t call Waagh in Turn 1/2 just because there was nothing really to worry about
I noticed in this match you (Chef) measured distance when turning the vehicle. Does this mean there is no more “pivot” on the spot before moving?

Hey folks ! I have to mention something that has been bugging me for a little while : sometimes you do that thing where you sort of mumble parts of your sentences and speak in a lower tone. Maybe that’s just me, but it sometimes makes it a bit hard to make out what you guys are saying. I mean it’s not that big a deal obviously, but I just thought I’d let you know.
