Join the Tabletop Tactics crew as they embark on an all new series of a Cast of Players, a Dungeon and Dragons Actual Play!

Set in the homebrew world of Valtor, where magic disappears from the world in cycles yet has remained far longer than it ever has in history, and war brews between its nations as tensions reach new breaking points. Our journey begins at Warden’s Watch, it’s patrons awaiting the arrival of the local Lord’s son, seeking aid in rooting out the cause of weeks worth of missing trade caravans…

I liked this, brought back feels from AD&D with school mates circa 1989. Although if this was our group, everyone in the tavern would be dead except the cat. DM not amused, adventure over and we’re all off out on our bikes to burn something…

ahh you’re back. The world is right again. Looking forward to seeing how the adventures of Bard, a bard, Beard the Barb, and Lady Stabitha pan out.

Love your DnD campaigns, the homebrew setting is brilliant. As someone who’s trying to write their own campaign I can appreciate the amount of work that goes into getting something as involved as Valtor. Can’t wait to see how this plays out.

I love this, but I’m worried you haven’t added enough to be “different” from other table role playing groups. It’s great humor and story, yet there isn’t enough visually compelling about the “action” for the viewer. It’s so close to be perfect

Wow, if this is the prologue… just HOW much work are you putting into the rest of the campaign in terms of scenery, models etc.

Well done guys

I’ve never been into DnD and didn’t think it would be that enjoyable to watch. The cast of characters and immersive table really sold me on this series. I understand now why people like watching those.

This first episode was a delight. Chef is an excellent GM with a great <pause> cast of players (puts on sunglasses to the sound of “Won’t Get Fooled Again” by The Who).

Already rewatching to fall asleep to. I love this, and can’t wait to watch the series. This is perfect, whether DND or 40K, your narrative content is amazing. Jinx settles in come episode 2, glad how you all interact! Thank you!

Bards character voice sounds a bit like Matt Berry and so my internal experience of this campaign will be Steven Toast tearing it up and I’m definitely here for it!

The fact Bard isn’t playing a Chaplain (cleric) is absolute heresy.

First time watching CoP so looking forward to seeing this unfold ☺️

Edit: Wait, i didn’t realise Bard was Matt Berry 😂

I think everyone’s well covered how awesome it is to see COP back, awesome characters and all that, I’d also like to add the editing was very good I love the statblock overlays in combat and the summarised spells poping up, as a fairly new player this is very helpful

Very strong start. Looks like you all were very happy to get back in. Very impressed with bard’s intro, felt like a seasoned d n d campaigners intro, rather than someone new to the system. I think katies character is going to be a bit of a sadist after pulling out the knives at the brawl.

After the first 3 will the rest all be downloadable from the app?

How long does a campaign of D&D last? Never played it but this is superb listening material for the bath. Love how everyone gets into it and develops a character

I didn’t know I needed a Matt Berry medieval mercenary bar fight in my life. But I’m glad it’s there.

Chef’s way of playing Armond really reminds me of Hugh Grant in the D&D movie! Very similar mannerisms and cadence.

Bard: I’m able to fit a Matt Berry voice into most of my battle reports, but it still doesn’t feel like enough…

Chef: Say no more, fam

Fantastic episode! I was looking forwards to the return of cast of players and Katie and James to join the cast, and they did not disappoint. Starting a bar fight and a cheeky couple of knife slashes, brilliant.
I also laughed out loud at Beard’s diplomacy, reminds me of my own rolls in campaigns!
Can’t wait for more! Hope you are all getting some time off over Christmas and have a wonderful time!

Wow you can tell this is gonna be a fun cast when they manage to accidently start a barfight. The part where Chef buried his head in his hand when they did is such a GM moment
