Deep within the Jungle, the Elite Special Forces of the Astra Militarum stalk their prey.  Closing in on an abandoned imperial research facility, they have been selected to engage and eliminate an unknown infestation to reclaim the compound by order of the inquisition….

Lying in wait however, are the obstinate and inexorable Death Guard.  Unseen by the Imperium, the 14th Legion have taken the now corrupted facility for their own, and will defiantly protect the dark secrets within.

Commander Slade orders the Tempestus Scions to engage, unwaivered by the terrifying visions of Nurgle, and drives his brave men into battle like a blade to the black heart.  Will these Imperial Storm Troopers be enough to stem the corruption of the Death Guard, or will the secrets hidden beneath the facility emerge and engulf the entire planet…

Great game. Beard Ed in a narrative report makes for a very high entertainment value. 🤘🏻

Awesome game! Just a couple of points. Beard, remember that after a DG Helbrute has attacked, one unit it has hit counts as being in contagion range.

Also, the stats for the frag missiles on the card for the Taurox Prime are incorrect and have been updated. It is S4, not S8.

Man, i love Ed’s energy. absolute great guy, his reaction to saving the Taurox from the Lethal Hit Bolter on 1 HP was perfect.

The valkyries air dropping scions is never going to not be cool. I know aircraft are tough to balance and aren’t in a great spot lately so love that they can shine narratively

Mr. Beard, you can’t think of a name for your daemon prince because you already named him! He is Necrosius the Undying, after all!

Great batrep, love the games with Ed and Beard. Always great narrative back and forth there!

Shout-out Beard remembering the twin linked reroll on the Helbrutes! My guy.

Lots of fun as ever, beginning to think the Death Guard are the big bad of the TT Universe

Joe’s narrative writing is absolutely excellent and always makes for a fun game and compelling story.. and I just love Ed’s vibe and movie references.

The Deathshroud Spider Climbing up the landing pad is very reminiscent of what they do at the Hollow Mountain in The End and The Death!!

Great to see Nork Deddog and his big bushy mustache again! Also, the intro looks like it’s straight out of an 80s action movie. Very nicely filmed, edited and narrated.
