Not done watching yet, but I wanted to say this is the best league yet by far! All the games have been insanely close and could have gone either way with a dice roll change here and there.
Also, Mr Bard…its not a flock of Ravens,,,Its a Unkindness of Ravens…more fitting as well as correct 😉
Is there anyway to make the freeview reports downloadable like the members reports? Im assuming there’s a technical cost which is why this isn’t an option, and that’s totally understandable, but thought it worth the ask.
Credit to you both for keeping such a positive and friendly atmosphere when that mighta been kinda difficult. Also this (along with Tak doing so well with White Scars in the PlayOn arena tournament) makes me think people are kinda sleeping on MSU zoomy fast stuff armies.
2nd Ed’s name should definitely be Gambit now!
Awesome game guys and interesting to see-I know you put a lot of thought in to trying to avoid match ups that might end like this but the occasional game ending in a walk over can be good to see as it pushes the tactical nuances of the loser and demonstrates how to really get it en point from a competitive view point. Also essential that it feels good spirited, although that pretty much goes unspoken with you guys.
I don’t get to see as many of the battle reports as I’d like, but was this the first gambit we’ve seen on TT?
Poor Ed, every army he faced in the league could very easily remove his blips (which GSC rely on to stay in the game). Despite this Ed is a brilliant sportsman and obviously really enjoys every game he plays, regardless of whether he is winning or losing! We love you Ed!! Also, Mr Bard you have become a brilliant tactician with your Ravenwing!

I absolutely love the way that Ed plays the game. He has such positive energy all the time and is able to turn every interaction between the armies in to a fun, thematic story with sound effects and everything! It would be very easy in a competitive scenario to feel down and get fed up as you scoop your models off with a shovel and he just seems to be having a great time. Ed- why oh why aren’t the Primus going with the Demo Charge Acolytes?!? They have a far greater damage output than the Neophytes and are the perfect weapon for taking on the Ravenwing Bikers. With re-rolls, you probably would have wiped out the Bike squads in a single shooting phase.
Also, what happened to the Purestrains from the first turn? They never reappeared in Bard’s second turn, even though you rolled to bring them back. With GSC, you can’t really afford to not be using all your resources.
Full respect to Brad for running a full on themed army in a league. Doing so well with it too. Each of the games have been really close (not watched this yet). So, not only does the army look awesome, is fully themed and looks like a really fun army type, it seems fairly competitive too! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Did James just pass all of his hazardous checks? Unless i missed it I’m not sure we saw the the rolls for the plasma overcharges on his biker boys

That extra 300 points really makes that army sing and your close games would be so different! I played vs pure bike Ravenwing with my Chaos Knights and won but I do not want to face my friend with extra 300. Good luck in Semfinals.

a flock also known as an Unkindness of Ravens, they GSC especially think their unkind as they just wanted to stop civil unrest and increase productivity on the planet, mentioned iirc in the first codex the Inquisition investigate any planet for signs of GSC if the reports of unrest decrease or if the industrial side becomes more productive then they predicted,
