Great report as always and a ton of fun to watch. But imo the hard stuff comes in to early. It should be more like a video game where you battle through hordes 😉 of smaller stuff and then more and more nasty creatures appear. And not 10 terminators and a defiler in round three.
Ed’s saves at 39mins would have got cover against those 0ap attacks because his base save on those scouts is a 4+. He got jipped out of another save.

This was awesome. Petition for xenos or chaos PCs vs an imperium horde! Tau attempting to hold off an endless Imperial Guard onslaught on one of their expansion worlds, or sneaky chaos trying to escape a forgeworld after a successful sabotage mission, hunted by mechanicus.
Horde mode looks so much fun!!
(And for me with less than 1000 points of space marines it’s something I can play 🙏)
These are definitely a fun and interesting twist to the normal games of 40K!! I love them.

Great stuff! This mode makes me want to see more narrative games make an appearance in future.
Enjoying all the content, but horde mode looks like a blast and deffo lends itself to a crusade wrap up game for the end of a crusade where you select your most badass units for a final mission, to maybe acquire a relic/ complete their ultimate mission or even just to give your worn down force a heroic end to their crusade (I’m thinking Halo Reach style). Speaking of Crusade, are there any plans for a crusade series in the future, you are all awesome at bringing the games to life and I loved the Beard & the Bard narrative… Read more »

Watching this is what I’d love the next narrative campaign to be like, so we get that games master and player dynamic
