Flensing claws and gnashing fangs are bared by both sides in today’s battle report as the Sons of Sanguinius unleash the black rage in response to a sky assault by the murderous fiends of Nostromo.
Jet pack exhausts scorch the battlefield as boosters are ignited, launching death company warriors into the traitor assault led by their High Chaplain, Astorath the Grim.
Bloodthirsty Night Lord Traitors blot out the sun with sheer numbers of airborne warriors and rain terror down from the blackened heavens, delivering cleaving blows to their former bretheren.
Will the Blood Angels channel the black rage and eliminate the traitors, or will they end as additions to the trophy wracks of the sons of Curze?

Absolutely loved watching this game! You guys brought your A game humour for this game and I’m here for it 💪.
On a side note, GW completing changing the captains ability is so annoying! It’s already hard to remember the rules, so trying to remember which written rules are actually correct is just a bit dumb. They’ve not even updated it on datasheets on the app!!

I mean, the fact the Night Lords never failed a Dark Pact and were still tabled is somewhat of an indictment on that detachment. I’ve tried to make it work but without janking around with loads of Noise Marine allies to force more Battleshock tests it just doesn’t really work. My Night Lords have been running as Renegade Raiders since the codex dropped, much more fun and thematic enough. But fair play to Beard for trying to make it work!

Great match fellas. What a wild swing at the end. Don’t think it would have made a difference but the Sanguinary Guard can only take all spears or all blades and not a mix of the two. Great to see Blood Angels getting such a great run-out at the moment

All my blood angels are in hyper sleep, waiting for a decent set of rules to emerge. This is just so sad
As a Night Lords player, as much as I hate to say it, the best way to run the army and make the most of the agile way a NL force wants to play is to run them in the Renagade Raiders detachment and not their own one. Sad, but the extra AP and being able to advance and shoot with everything (including your Vindicator & Land Raider) is too good to ignore. Quick side tip, I’ve found that running the Warp Talons in a brick of 10 is the best way to use them now as that increases your… Read more »

The Night Lords look really great, glad to see as my own Nightlords upgrade sprues (KillTeam…) turned up whilst watching this! Almost like you timed it!
It’ll be interesting to see them against something like Tau or lots of Guard – high risk of getting shot off the board if they’re caught out!
