I have a controversial question! I don’t usually like using named characters because I like the hobby and army building process being a sort of self expression, and as a result I don’t feel like I can be truly creative if I’m painting Azrael, for example. I want to create my very own Chapter Master Alan! This might be a question best asked to Katie, but I think anyone could answer. I’m going to be working on an Old One Eye model soon. Would it be wrong to use the datasheet of Old One Eye, but use a different name… Read more »
The quality of painting on show over the last few years at Golden Demon is insane. Bard hit the nail on the head that some of these models are painted so well that they stop looking like painted models and start to feel like rendered images instead. These are so cool and the paint jobs are insane, in particular I really liked the marshal with the horse diorama and the White Dwarf model.
Also, i remember being so impressed with Fletch’s entry last year, I wasn’t following TTT then, well done, it’s amazing.
For me, the Age of Sigmar still has the most gorgeous models that GW has put out. Even here, with all these fantastic pieces, the Sigmar pieces just popped differently for me personally.
Also made me wistful that we never got to see Fletcher’s Yndrasta here, but such is life.
“Find out who won the coveted Slayer Sword”
Well, I’m guessing the guy waving the slayer sword in celebration as you say it, won the slayer sword 😘
To add to the fun on the epic scale silver medal titan, I’m pretty sure the terrain on the base is arranged into a khorne symbol
Genuine works of art on display here, and great discussion on them from you three as well!
These models are pieces of art, the amount of time and effort that goes into these models, are amazing.
