As the Thirteenth Company emerges from the eye of terror, they bring with them the wrath of the all father, the gnashing fangs of Fenris, and the might of Russ. The fury of the storm and pitiless wrath of endless winter rolls onto the battlefield today as the great wolf Logan Grimnar clashes with his Chapter’s arch nemesis, the Thousand Sons As his sons raise their axes once more to face their ancient enemy, they must endure the sorcerous cyclone and the unrelenting automata that approach them… Will the victory songs of Russ be bellowed by the warriors of Fenris, or will vengeance be wrought by the prospering cabal?

Watching Fletcher play this army was absolutely the endorphin boost I needed 😂

Interesting point of dice etiquette!

Do we like our opponent to leave the wounds tucked in the corner of the tray so it’s clear how many saves are needed (like Fletcher)?

Or do we want their filthy runes removed for our triumphal saving rolls (like Beard)?

Isn’t the space wolf list a couple hundred more points than the thousand sons?

Nice to see Fletcher on camera again! Shame he was a bully to those poor Thousand Sons. The only redeeming quality of those Space Wolves is their beautiful paint job, once more ;).

The scale between the Hellbrute and the Wolf Priest is hilarious 😂

Fletcher’s giddyness at being allowed out of his painting bunker is heartwarming.

I assume the battle tracker on the app hasn’t gone live yet?

Amazing work Fletcher, so glad it was you that got to use Logan and his crew for their inaugural game! Don’t sweat any mistakes you made dude, the joy of playing an army youi crafted yourself more than makes up for it!!

Fletchers paint scheme sure does some work and the new SW sure are a big improvement, but I just can’t get over the no helm thing. 40K is anything but realistic of cause, but it just looks so stupid in a world where bullets flying around is the norm. I would have loved them as fantasy warriors or with some fancy helmets. On the flipside, I’m still ab big fan of the old dreadnaughts, I think the duel with the Chaplain (which HAS a helmet – and it looks badass!) looked epic. In this size they look more like massive… Read more »

I like the shorter formatting, but I think there might have been a bit too much cut from this video. I’d have liked to have known which units were the oath of moment, the Headtakers’ quarry etc. I don’t think it was mentioned at all during that game. Amazing looking army though, Fletcher’s done an exquisite job! Edit: after seeing the other comments, I now realise that Fletcher just didn’t know about the army rule. That’s fair enough, but surely Beard or Katie could have noticed? I’m also fairly sure that the assault cannon has devi wounds, which seems to… Read more »

The Wolves did not let me down.
Just successfully ordered Logan, Arjac and some Wolfguard Terminators so watching this makes me even more excited to get hold of them.

Well done Fletch! 🤜🤛

Absolutely ace seeing Fletcher in the studio at the head of that gorgeously painted Space Wolves Army. And we get a classic match up to boot! What a treat! Let the carnage commence!

Beard is giving off a strong Dad energy in this battle report.
Fletcher giving off the energy of a man finally being allowed out of his painting prison.
Great game. More Fletcher playing please.

That SW army looks stunning and Logan is just such a masterpiece. Completely agreed that his model just has a fantastic gravitas to it that is really only comparable to the Primarchs.

With all that written, I need to check something as did drove me nuts while watching the match. Did Fletcher just completely ignore the Oath of Moment army rule?

I was lucky enough to get the Army box for my favorite Wolfy boiz, and read the codex like 3x already 😂 fletcher did some small mistakes, but they shall be forgiven by his overall performance 😁 just for next time: Termis are -1 to wound always, beastslayer lethal were sometimes forgotten and I dont recall him ever using Oath of moment 🤔 but a very entertaining match, cant wait to get my wolves painted up 😁
