I was really expecting you guys to go with voldus as he’s the next one down from drago, crow is pretty good but he’s the force multiplier for the purifiers
Voldus has I think five attacks on a hammer that strength 10- 2/3 damage, he has an ability when activated to potentially do mortal wounds in combat. He also has sanctuary if running to affect himself is a minus one to be hit
Are assassins not epic hero’s? Would be interesting to see how the eversor and vindicare compare. Regarding the vindicare, the shield breaker round might be a clutch point from a silly distance away plus several rounds of shooting before melee may allow him to win – eversor goes screeeeeeeeee
Logan’s doggies? Arjac minces characters better than Logan or Ragnar.
Confused why you guys picked Crowe, who is not denoted as the best fighter the grey knights have to offer, only that he’s the purest soul and warden of a dangerous artefact. Voldus, on the other hand, is ‘the most powerful psyker the grey knights have seen in centuries’ and mops the floor with Crowe on the tabletop.
Ah. This one is a swing and a miss for me. I absolutely love the vibe of metaslayer and these sort of tierlists should be super fun, but I feel there was no specific criteria set out bar “these stats are better than those stats” (some of which were ignored or wrong alas, e.g. the Emperor’s Champion not being an Epic Character etc.) And if we are discussing juat raw stat vs stat checks no mention of points really as well kinda makes the whole thing a little meaningless. I dont need a tierlist to know Morhven can solo Marbo… Read more »
You guys gave black templars a non-epic hero. You ignored Helbrecht.
He does mortals, up to 6, at the start of every fight phase. Before anyone swings. He can do 4 mortals with his combi weapon vs anyone but Cawl. He would have 7 attacks at str 9, ap-3, 3 damage.
What about my mate Bjorn the fellhanded… Just chucking that one in the mix to!!
Well I can’t disagree with most of what’s been said here…. In a straight up fight some characters simply haven’t got the rules to back up the lore that comes with them which on the table means they’re only ever gonna be as good as the unit they buff and some characters are just straight up killers that only need to know one thing…. Where the enemy is!! Haha
Anyone who puts any Imperium Epic Hero in any tier other than Slayer is a Heretic and will be hearing from the Inquisition
No Pedro Kantor 😮😮😮
Or any sons of Dorn!!!
Quick Some one tell valrak!!!
Need this for chaos and xenos next
If you guys are going to review characters, at least read all their abilities. The Emperor’s champion can trigger mortal wounds against characters once per battle, which means he would get devastating wounds on fives against character. I feel confident that he would destroy Cawl in one round of combat.
Definitely not arhiman
