Enjoy the game love seeing farsight as always cant wait to see more battle reps with farsight and the tau always enjoy it 🙂
suppressors hit on 4s if they’ve moved
I think the warsuits’ combat support ability may have been missed a couple times and there were a few other mistakes like Shadowsun’s fusion guns having two shots, ghostkeel shooting brother Grylls from outside of 12 inches (from what I can see, its difficult to judge distance), and eliminators failing a 3+ save in cover from ap1…. On a 3? I generally try to avoid pointing out mistakes in casual games but this report in particular was getting a little frustrating to watch. I know there’s also a lot of pressure whilst filming these reports and nobody is completely infallible,… Read more »
One thing to note. You have to use the stealth drones on the ghostkeel *before* rolling the save, not after.
Very fun battle report. Loving the fluffier stuff!
Is it just me or does Bard only shoot once each time with Shadowsuns high energy fusion blasters? she has 2 and they arent twin linked.
Great content guys, devastating combat from the T’au, amazing
I love how different battle reports join together as stories of the same narrative 🙏.
A man in London looks up, smiles and nods… Combat Tau indeed
Check the Dice tray for magnets when bread rolls🤔
Love the Bard and Bread match ups!

Great game. Nice to see farsight doing some work and always a delight to see the ghostkeels making their points. That and i was not expecting farsights +1 to wound buff to be as effective as it was so good going. Maybe consider replacing the missle pod on farsights crisis team with something more short range since to take advantage of that they are gonna be close anyway Bard though genuine question. Why do you not put shield gens on the crisis suits? In this game it was mainly shooting units off the board but in most 10th ed games,… Read more »
That was one of the most fluff appropriate battle reports in ages. Just the way Shadowsun and Farsight took over at the second half was magnificent, especially because I had kind of counted the T’au out at that point.
Really fun game and I realized that the T’Au codex is the one I am perhaps most looking forward to as there are some really neat things that can be done with new detachment rules.
I know it’s a fun casual game, but that first round of shooting of the game was painful to watch: Infiltrators rerolled their hits with Oaths, but then didn’t roll to wound… Beard just said the hits were wounds… Then with Lt. Bear Grills, he said the combi-gun was anti-infantry 3+, even though it’s on 4s, and then Bard was rolling saves vs the combi-weapon’s devastating wounds (which he failed anyway, but still)… It’s silly mistakes like that I find really jarring sometimes in batreps, and I’d expect a certain level of accuracy. I’m maybe nit-picking a bit here, as… Read more »
Some of my favourite players playing my favourite Tau, the best Christmas gift so far this year! So excited to watch this with my boy tomorrow morning when he gets me up at 6 😁 I just showed him the thumbnail from the sofa, his mouth dropped and then mouthed ‘oh my gawd’ 😂
You guys rock, thanks so much for this. 🎅
Great batrep. Love these Saturday speclials.
Idk if it’s a good topic for the podcast. But I’d like to hear everyone’s opinion on the “balance” of the game at 1500 or 3000 points.
Lt with Combi Weapon is called “Mr I’m Still Standing” after the meme.
It’s the only decent name to be having.
Just feels stupid that the Eversor has to start on the board. Can you not get the old ‘escape pod’ objective marker and say he deploys via assassinorum drop pod… hardly feels game breaking.
You can have that one for free – now with that idea I wonder if I have that objective marker…
