Dumb question but can you make a series that covers each phase in step by step detail?? I feel like every time I play I learn something new or figure out I was doing something completely wrong! This would be amazing!!! Thank you!
Nice
Still trying to figure out how to download videos so I can watch this later without Internet
Excellent guide lads. Well done.
Don’t forget that while charging you must move models within base-to-base contact now if possible, so now there is less mobility for going around with pile-in moves as, models in base-to-base contact can’t move in pile-in or consolidation
So good, thanks for this!!
Fantastic tutorial! Can’t wait to see a full game of 10th!!!
Serious question… Will you be painting your entire Tyranid army in that scheme? I would support that life choice.
Thanks for the awesome tutorial. It was great to see how the new changes shape up on the table. Quick question about ruins: My reading is that they block Los regardless of height now if a unit is on the other side? I didn’t see any mention of obscuring in there. Do I have that right?
Hmm. Needs more Flamehead.
If I’m reading this correctly my army (nids) abilities to cause battleshock won’t actually do anything because it ends during my opponents command phase anyway. So I battleshock them in my turn. Then before it would matter for them holding objectives or doing anything in their turn its over?
GW seems to be pushing battleshock and I’m worried they overestimate it like they do moral in prior editions.
Love the paint scheme on those Nids. Looks like Fletcher has smashed it out of the park again. 👍🤘
Fantastic intro video on how to play 40k 10th edition, I Can’t wait for some full battle reports. Thank you all for making 40k easier to understand!
This was an awesome first look at what 10th edition has in store for us. You can really see all of the hard work that went into the video in terms of production and painting! Cheers to everyone involved for a job well done.
On the second round of the battle you can’t put your reserves in the enemy deployment zone.
Great video!
Are we getting a Nids paint scheme tutorial? Really like that color scheme
Great intro video and of course classic Beard failing a morale on 3D6, bet it was a triple 1 😀
Ah guys where is that game mat from I need it!!
@chef thank you for that, if you guys can send me a mailing address I have some Sororitas to donate to the channel, based on what @flynn buckland said in your chat?
Absolutely loved this! Well done guys. Love the paint job on both sides. Bring on the bat reps!!!
That intro soundtrack slaps, just saying xD
Fantastic video Beard and Spider! Spot on! Loving Fletcher’s take on the studio’s Tyranid army – those new models look incredible! 🔥
This is a great, clear video for explaining the core mechanics. I have played Tyranids on and off since the nineties and never found a colour scheme I was completely happy with until now. They finally capture the sense of the Tyranids as the Star Gods of the Genestealer Cults. Will Fletcher be producing a painting guide? If not, can we have the colours to try to figure it out ourselves?
Great video! Good work Beard!
Fantastic video guys! Beard you’ve bossed it sir. 🤟
Saw a teenage lad in Morrisons earlier wearing an Inquisition T-shirt. I must have been staring for a while because when I looked at his face he had a look that said “this dude is ducking weird and I fear for my safety”.
Well that’s the power of warhammer folks… welcome to the club.
Fantastic video! A lot better than the Boarding Actions one, shows incredible progress. Love it!
You guys mentioned in the video that its 1 epic hero per army. Looking at the core rules it looks like only 1 of each epic hero datasheet, but im not seeing the only 1 epic per army restriction. Can you guys confirm this is correct / point me to what page it might be on?
Brilliant work guys very much looking forward to seeing more 10th edition stuff!
I love Beard with all my heart, but it does feel a little sinful to not have Jinx play the Tyranids.
Excellent as usual guys. Can’t wait to see some actual battle reports!
Great video guys! Will be super useful for everyone not just new starts to the hobby. Keep up the amazing content!
Great video, really helps to see the rules in action. Brilliant editing and the length of video was spot on to show off every phase and key points. Thank you 🙏
Great intro guys. Gloriously painted tyrannids! Fletcher tutorial soon?
really good video, I’m sure this will help a lot of people get their heads around the rules! Felt a lot less scripted than the boarding action tutorial too which was really nice
Good luck to you all in 10th!
As excellent as I expected it to be!! Made such sense to skip forward some parts so that you can show off all of the different phases, one hope that I have for your first few “proper” games of 10th is a few “sidebars” or explanations as to why certain things are happening? I’m sure you will, as you guys always do a great job of explaining, but I trust that I am in capable hands going into 10th!
Brilliant video, and beautifully edited by Beard!
The core rules state “Your army cannot include the same EPIC HERO more than once.” Do you know something we don’t here?
Interesting. Love the video. One thing though: Liam Dempsey said on his stream this morning that GW had said people were only allowed to play what was in the Leviathan box? Have you guys been told different?
All hail Beard and his tireless editing!
Fantastic work as always! Even though you couldn’t do a bloopers bit, I still enjoyed Beard’s bit of pantomime when he failed that battleshock test.
Great video – lovely to see 10th in action!
Can I also add that those nids look *amazing*. Is Fletcher repainting the whole of Hive Fleet Myrmidon? Because they look absolutely brilliant. The lad has an incredible talent.
Did u say u can download the points data sheets as well now
Absolutely fantastic video, hope you guys continue to pump out this amazing content! Have been an on demand subscriber for a little while and it’s by far my favourite streaming subscription! All the best for 10th!
hi team, great video thanks, and done in “record” time.. I hope Fletcher is ok? that must have been a mental deadline to achieve!
Great video! Could you please ask Fletcher which paints he uses for the Ultramarines as I have been trying to match the blues but have been unsuccessful so far?
Just a note on obscuring for ruins, Lawrence mentioned that it applies to the ruin because it’s over 5″ tall, but there’s no longer any height restrictions in the core rules for when obscuring applies to ruins. It now applies to all ruins. The only thing that relates to height is the new Plunging Fire rule. Other than that great and useful video! Thanks a lot for it!
This was nicely done, I will suggest it to new or returning players for sure!
Very good intro! Thank you. Tabling means an auto win? 🙁
I’m so hyped for 10th like, geez ! Real neat video mister Beard sir, the editing is on point ! (Just to torture you : Lawrence doesn’t mention the Repulsor when talking about his Space Marine list, I assume the clip has been lost to the warp.) I absolutely cannot wait for a full 10th edition battle report. Oh and also the board was nice like reeaaally nice, and I like the song you picked for the credits – I was surprised to hear lyrics but it gave it a sort of pop energy I didn’t expect !
