@fletchers_painting. Been watching this vid and dug out all my unpainted heresy stuff. Inspired me to finish the army I never finished. One question though, did you just eye ball the mix for the 2nd highlight. Or did you mix it to a specific ratio?
Amazing
Amazing video as always! Fletcher I have to ask though? Fleshtearers soon????????? Please!
Fletcher. Thank you. Every time you do one of these, I learn something new. You are painting goals.
Fantastic work, great video
Absolutely stunning work.
Your understanding of colour is just next level to me. Amazing stuff.
Btw, what was the music in the background? It was like meditation music!
so nice ill watch it twice, wonderfully painted army, inspires me to keep painting!
What a great video and a stunning army. I have a SoH army which I haven’t really got to grips with in a few years… it’s the most shamed part of my pile of shame. Seeing yours has both inspired me to give it a go and the sense that it’ll be hopeless in comparison 😂. Will you ever add the big man himself? Both incarnations are absolutely stunning.
Always absolutely love your videos Fletcher. I’ve found them invaluable for learning so many tips and tricks and info around colour theory it’s fantastic. Incredible work as ever on your models, truly an inspiration ❤️
What is the music used in the video?
As a serious painter, i want to thank you for these tutorials. I use them in my own painting. Thank you Flecher and TT.
Thankyou sir loving this style of content. You deserve all the recognition for your fantastic work.
This was great, well done Fletcher, such an in-depth showcase, really liked the detail you went into for Maglehursts skin tones etc.
This is such an astonishing content! I can see you are really excited about the army and it was a terrific getaway from painting other things you might not necessarily enjoy. I love how you thought about adding flesh tone into the green highlight, it is amazing and I’d never think about it. Really inspiring tutorial I’ll definitely get back to every now and then.
I wish I had the same dedication with my Scourged army. Great work and focus.
Absolutely inspiring!!!
I love this. All of this. More of this please. Could we ever see more personal army project stuff from other team members??? I’d love to see the Spider or Beard paint.
It’s like a little piece of God was chipped off and that’s how we got Fletcher.
Absolutely stunning work. I’ve been loving the WIP updates on your Instagram and it’s great to see this video show how it all came together. Just a shame we’re not going to get to see this army regularly on the channel. Really inspired to start my Dark Angels Heresy army after this!
Love these kinds of painting videos where you explain a lot of the “why” behind your choices. Great stuff!
Fletcher, this is absolutely amazing. I’ve been waffling on getting an airbrush but as someone who is also not huge on the ‘Eavy Metal style, this is really inspiring me to take the plunge and try to level up my painting. Great great work.
Fletcher, Do you always use the Vallejo model colours or do you use their Game Colour range too? The model colour looks more matt than the game colour and I was wondering which you prefer for larger black armour areas
Epic video. This made my day.
Absolutely love the longer format and how you talk about why you’re doing something, instead of just walking through the colors you’re using. Makes it dead easy to follow along and learn the theory behind a technique. I love this paint scheme so much. Well done sir!
Also I need that music playing while I paint. Super relaxing stuff.
What a delightful video to watch over lunch. Massive congratulations Fletcher, they look brilliant as always. Finishing a project is always such a great feeling – this is motivating me to crack on with my next twenty Ork boyz. Ere we go!
Every day with a Fletcher viedeo/guide is an awesome day. Truly, I can’t get enough.
I used the age of darkness set to build my own CSM army, using the colors of the Sons of Horus (not near as cool as yours, but still I love the hue) and a lot of vikings elements. And then I play them as Emperor’s Children :D. It’s one of my favourite projects, and I plan to going back to it as soon as the rules for the EC are released and I can start again to convert my “clean” chaos army.
I’ve just started a Sons of Horus army. While I’m no Fletcher, to hear from the master himself is very helpful! I love these videos.
Hey Fletcher, loved the video! Do you have any info on how you have your wet palette? I still really struggle to “dial it in”?
I haven’t even watch this and I am already Hyped for some Heresy !
