I feel that the 40K games are becoming a bit boring to watch. Everything dies instantly since all units hit on 2+ with re-rolls, wound on 2+ with re-rolls and have -2 AP.
I have shifted my hobby focus to the Old World which is a lot less bloody. Hoping for 11th edition though since I really love the 40K setting,
Shouldn’t the overwatch against Logan’s unit with the noise marines have been 2cp because of Logan’s 1 to cp cost aura
I look forward to a time when Space Marines don’t just die like really expensive guardsmen.
I believe Lawrence would not be able to overwatch logan’s squad as they didn’t make the charge therefore they didn’t actually move, though he could have done it in the movement phase instead. Its more of a sequencing issue as Lawrence may not have known if he needed cp during the movement phase whereas in the charge phase he would know that he had a cp free for overwatch instead of other defensive strats
Always a pleasure seeing Lawrence run the EC, great game guys!
Looking at the App, they have left out the “Spirit Sliver Enhancement. How much does it cost points wise?

Both are alpha strike armies and that’s why I was a bit surprised to see the SW deployed on the line, the EC at least are in Rhino’s or hidden… The Land raiders are points sinks, but if you need AP shots they are not bad, they just can’t stand up to mortal wounds and deamon primarchs, so again keep them back? Plus I don’t get why wulfen take the place of 2 models in transports they are yust as big as primaris and have only 2 wounds… I love them, but they just suck at the moment and… Read more »
I would like to see more normal armies like Ultramarines, Black Legion or Tau. Because World Eaters or Emperors Children are (in my opinion) way to overpowered since they got their own codex. It feels like every second model of a unit got 5-10 attacks, hits on 2, wounds on 2, full rerolls for both, sustained and/or lethal because of strats or dark packs or blessings and than -4 AP, damage 3-6… I can’t help myself but I really really don’t like the rules of the WE and EC in this edition. I’ve been experimenting with the wolves myself and finding them a bit frustrating tbh… I want to run a core space wolf list but without the help of other Astartes units I find putting down meaningful damage is a problem and somehow end up getting outnumbered which is weird when you start with units of 20 blood claws etc The characters are flavourful but as there are so few leaders or combos in build type they are easily countered and picked off. I dont know if its a typo error or sth like that, but the enhancement is only available for unit with “demon prince” key word and demon prince with wings has the key word as “demon prince with wings”?Am i allow to buy the enhancement for a wing prince?
