Awesome narrative report! This is the one I’ve enjoyed the most in a while by far, Bone’s diary entries were great!
In my headcanon though I don’t see the Raptors and the Genome liking each other. I kinda see the Raptors as really gritty and thinking that the Tempestus are trumped up jocks with fancy toys, and the Tempestus are arrogant because they know that they’re the elite. At the end of the day they’re on the same side but there’s a big rivalry.
Can’t wait for the next chapter of the story with a Tyranid invansion

Excellent Story time! Shame the battle didn’t pan out to be closer, but it did swing some. I have to say, of all the factions in 40K, GSC really feel the most cinematic. Well done brehs, well done.

That was fun to watch – i honestly dont think there would be piles of dead, more offal spread all over the place…. so much artillery . I love watching you guys do things luke this as well as tacticas, normal batrep and d&d. I know you guys have chapter approved 2019 somewhere – have you thought about using the character creator for your unique ‘named’ characters to give them a different flavour?
Wonderful narrative report and a beautiful guard army. Sounds like there is a bug hunt on the way, and we all know that “the only good bug, is a dead bug”. Some backup may be needed from the sound of it. I hope some Specters are on the way to help Spider.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the Artillery in action. I’ve never run Manticores before and they really pulled their weight today. The only thing better than artillery, is more artillery. It is the King of battle after all.

That was brilliant guys. Looking forward to seeing where this story leads. Fantastic voice acting from everyone, Bone you did such an job with Doctor Arnault and the “fix bayonets” at the end, awesome.
Bone’s performance as Dr. Arnault was incredible, and Chef’s cry as the Abominant was terrifying!
I can’t help but use this as en inspiration for a narrative Kill Team campaign, thanks for a fantastic inspirational video and an even better battle report.

Really digging the intros. Mechanically I can come up with scenarios, but I’m pretty awful at turning it into a story.
Would it be viable for you to also host the Freeviews the same way as On Demand?YouTube is frequently garbage stream-wise where I live, and it’s certainly worse now with everyone home all the time.
Your Narrative Reports are always great, and the stories you build with intros and outros are awesome. Those Guard models were incredible, they gave me this “colonial marines” vibe and I would very much like them fight agains some Nids…. I think I’ll build a Kill Team list of scions to replicate Aliens, now, while waiting for another chapter in this campaign!

Firstly, loved the battle report, I am a huge fan of your narrative reports. Unfortunately for me, the battle felt really skewed towards the imperial guard. Would have loved to see more LOS blocking terrain for the GSC and cult ambush deepstriking. Felt a lot like watching something walk into a room and get shot apart from all sides.
Outstanding work, gentlemen! The time and effort put into such a fantastic production is much appreciated by all of us stuck inside right now! The “rapid raptor fire” cut-to-head-shake was my personal favorite moment of the battle. ; )

I think I remember reading that when you have a x2 are and +1 are you actually multiply first then add the one. So the abominants would’ve been str 13. Weird I know. But I definitely remember reading that.
Not through the entire report yet, but even the first turn was epic!
One tactical tip: if you order a squad of guardsmen back in the fight, that’s the perfect time to use the grenadier strat on them 😀
Fantastic report. How I wish there would be more of the narrative battles, but I understand they take by far the longest to make, so it’s understandable they’re limited. Looking forward to seeing the 132nd try and face off against the real threat of the glorious hivemind!
