Seeing all these techniques is awesome. Are there any plans to do any introduction to painting videos? I’ve been painting my armies for a few years but I am still neophyte at best and some intro videos would be awesome. For example, how to set up things like wet palettes, the best ways to mix paints, etc.
Absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing your secrets!
Awesome video Fletcher! I’m just wondering how long you wait for the paint to set before you mask it? I’m weary of using masking tape as I’ve always had issues with bleed through and/or paint pulling up.
Great video – cant wait to see more – Fletcher, you are insane;)
Fletcher is an awesome painter (artist?). Wow.
Wow, skills Fletch!
What a process! Thank you, looks incredible 😍
Did i hear halfords primer to prime the mini?
Hey fletcher did you paint the other knights? I was wondering where you got the cool spikes and horns
outstanding, really pleased we have Fletch onboard. loads to learn with painting so very much looking forward to more of these!
This is such a good tutorial! Looking forward to many more in the future.
Really nice tutorial with good production values, I like this new branch of video’s. Thanks for the tip on the plasma coil. Looking forward to future instalments
Awesome video!!! 👍🏻 Loved it, and learned so much from this video. Please keep them coming.
Fletcher. What Airbrush do you use?
This was amazing! I learnt a lot from this video Fletcher! You make it look so easy! Cant wait for more 🙂
Great format ! Good job Fletcher. You have very cool and unusual techniques ! Short videos exploring some of them would be nice 🤞
Can’t wait for you « classic » (aka Flesh Tearers’) plasma effect tuto 😍
This was AWESOME! I hope their are more painting tutorials!
More of this please. Fletcher is fantastic at explaining his process.
Many thanks for this video. I’ve been hoping for this kind of content since I started my subscription. I’d like to add a little wishlist: • please consider to add a little more technical detail, eg type, size, maybe preferred brush brand, as well as choice of airbrush (not to make this an advertisement show, only so that we can see your reasoning) • would love to see your organisational approach to rank and file or horde projects • would love to see a maximum effort project And one little question: will there be GW models only in the future?… Read more »
That was great. Learnt a few new little tricks.
Hey Fletcher, great work! I was wondering how did that take to paint ?
Fletcher!! Wow that was wicked, thanks so much!! If you could do one for Steel Legion vehicles, that would be great 😝. Keep this content coming, a great edition to what’s into a cracking TTT lineup of shows!
This is awesome been waiting a long time for a painting tutorial got some nice tricks to try out with my next army thanks heaps
Such a great idea for a series!!
This was awesome!!
Excellent, Fletcher! Well communicated. I look forward to your scenery video (got pretty excited when I saw it teased at the end). I have a few questions, if you have the time. You use a lot of acrylic washes that you wipe away quickly. Is there a reason you chose not to use oils here? For the varnishes, do you have any advice on thinning it, PSI, etc? I have a HP-CS with a 0.35mm needle (which I think you’re using here), and I’m mostly concerned about applying the Ultra Matte stuff. When I use it, I get a very… Read more »
Cardboard box pallet? Fletcher is a man of the people!
Loved this, can’t wait for more!
Amazing! I generally dislike painting tutorials, but the pace and skill level of this was spot on! Thank you!
One small piece of unconstructive criticism… i only watch your credits for the outtakes… im sure fletcher spilt more than one bottle of agrax in the making of this video… lol
excellently produced and nice to see some in depth painting tutorials focussed on army painting, will you be doing some display stuff too fletch?
I love it. Also, it helps diversify the channel content a bit, which is always a plus.
Nice some interesting techniques ive not seen before. really welcome and entertaining upgrade to the channel.
Great job on the video! Never seen that wash/flow improver trick before.
Wow! As someone who cannot paint a garden fence properly, this is certainly an eye-opener of the skill and patience that go into making your models look as awesome as they do.
Great job Fletcher and the rest of the team for this awesome instructional video! More please!
Really nice.
I don’t know if it would be too time consuming when it comes to editing but I would watch an 1 hour format of these, just to get a little bit more footage of the main plate and see the way Fletcher uses his brush, the angles he uses, the regions he’s targeting, etc.
Yeah this makes me want to buy an airbrush lol. Maybe when I move into a better place.
Brilliant video ! love that you guys are doing this. Been eyeing up an airbrush for ages now and I think this has swung me to actually getting one. What kit do you use/any tips Fletcher ?
Amazing!!! The airbrushing part is just what I needed;) ty all. And thanks fletcher, good job. Just a question? Are you using cardboard as a 🎨? If so… won’t the paint pull into the board and dry it quicker? Or is that just in my mind:p ?
Mr Giles,
How long do you reckon it took to complete the knight’s paint job, start to finish.
Curious, because in the short time you have been at TT you seem to have completed a lot! Also the new releases seem to be on the table for the codex debut’s, I don’t imagine you have long to work with there…….
Well done Fletcher.
Fletcher this is amazing, it’s really great to watch your process. What’s next on the rank? Please tell me you’re going to bestow on us your Flesh Tearers scheme – it’s amazing!
Awesome work. What a great addition to TT’s content – you make it all look so achievable! Really enjoyed seeing this. Are the scorpions on the chaos armigers transfers?
Oh my gosh, a dream came true 😍
This is so great. Fletcher – you’re incredibly skilled, and you were able to break this all down to be easier and manageable. Well done.
Absolutely amazing work, Fletchers got some mad skills
Brilliant tutorial very much enjoyed it
@Fletcher can you say more on the airbrush and compressor your using pal? Also can you explain what a volumetric highlight is I can guess but I don’t want to run the risk of guessing wrong.
Amazing advice with the flow improver : agrax mix, then wicked with pure flow improver! Loved the video, watched avidly all the way through.
Loved the video you made it look easy.
Can we start with the basic , how to use the air push, I wanted to buy one and I was afraid to mess it up 😂 that would be like a tutorial next time 😍
The way he handle mixing, weathering and how to switch from airbrush to brush… learned a lot in 20mins already. Now I want the box to arrive…
Love it mr Fletch. I’ve been dying to see some of your neat tips and trics. Keep it coming. And i really like that its not a 3 hour video. Quick and easy and straight to the point.
Awesome content Fletch. The ease with which you paint to such a high standard is both envious and inspiring. How long did it take you to paint this knight start to finish? It feels like you got it done in a day watching this video.
