Love the batrep, not sure if it’s been pointed out but Daemon princes get a free attack with their claws like a chainsword, additionally CSM Daemon princes grant reroll 1s to daemons with the same MARK OF CHAOS as them AND their own LEGION. Enjoyed the batrep, get some pants on that new daemon prince!
That was brilliant, one of my favourite narrative reports you have done so far. Being somebody who likes to play with a story i can’t wait to see what you bring to the table next!
I already hate myself for this comment but…. in the into the graphic has the date as 996.M41, but you introduce it as after the great rift… that happens after the 13th black crusade, which is 999.M41.

Bone how did the Paladin bomb feel? It seems like it may be a bit restrictive but the -1dmg is so good. So excited for more Grey Knights, I’ve been trying out tons of units myself but a Paladin bomb I have yet to try.
I seriously think Terminator troops are back on the menu. They are so ridiculously tanky in Tide of Shadows it is frustrating. I am also going to make Dreadnoughts work I swear it, same with our Terminators!

Also damn great battle, was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
Good to see B-Bone dropping the word ‘mate’ more often into conversation after a couple of weeks back in the lucky country. Also, narrative is where it’s at. It amplifies the epic dice rolling moments to cinematic proportions. PS the Tide of Escalation is fully sick bro.
Great to see another narrative report. Been waiting for something juicy like this for a while. Also loved the Cadian officers perfomance at beginning? Was that Bone Or Sanga? Loved it either way. I know some people are real sticklers for the rules, but it could have been more thematic to make Berserkers fearless just for this narrative game. Also disallow command re-rolls to give a bit more weight to every action. We all know command rerolls fail 98% of the time anyway.
Fantastic effects but my word, the world eaters were so underpowered! For myself, it took away the feeling of the game (I am a world eater player.) I did enjoy the story and the effects, this style of narrative reports I’ll certainly enjoy. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your shows.
Great report, but I believe World Eaters as the defenders should have had a points advantage, like this they were doomed as sadly Chaos is way behind in rules and overall power now that GK got their supplement, flat 3 smite on daemons also is the cherry on top.
Still good fun though!
