idk if im the only one, but ive always found Harlequins just so fucking obnoxious. have literally never liked playing against them. looks great though!
Does the webway gate need to be set up more than 3″ away from other terrain features? Don’t remember if they changed the fortification rules as hardly anyone’s every played them.
Also, great to be back watching premium. Have missed you guys (and Bone!!!)

I’m taking bets on LOLG being capped at once per phase in the next balance dataslate… Harlies are cool, but this level of nonsense just doesn’t look fun to play into. Will wait and see I suppose.
@Chef What made your Troupes and your Troupe Master -1 to hit on melee? You kept referring to “masks”. Do you mean the “Harlequin’s Mask” of the Skyweavers? I can’t find it on any other unit though.

Oh dear. I don’t necessarily mind the absurd speed and invulns and melee prowess, but I’m not convinced anything quite that fast and stabby should be allowed that monstrous fusillade of a
shuriken phaseshooting phase.Out of curiosity how would the webway gate shenanigans work with rules like Infiltrators no reinforcements within 12″? And if it works in the favour of the marines do people think we will see a resurgence of their use?
In terms of which Order to use with Sisters now, I like Ebon Chalice. Their warlord trait lets you automatically get a 6 turn one and some CP regen. Also their trait of picking 2 Rites and can turn 2 dice into a 6 makes them really consistent.
Entertaining as always, gentlemen! I watched half the video before pausing to play my own inaugural Harlequins game at my LGS (which was also my first head-to-head game against an actual person since the pandemic began). My dice were also incredibly hot, Chef. I suspect it’s New Book Glow. We shouldn’t get used to it. 😉 I have to say the Harvester of Torment w/ the Favored of Cegorach warlord trait feels pretty dirty to use, especially when you naturally roll a 6 amongst your original three hit dice. Enjoyed this although having watched the last few games I think Strands of Fate and Luck were supposed to be once per game and something was lost in translation…
Shame because they’re fun rules in theory but don’t seem fun to play against.
Yeah, I haven’t been happy with Morven Vahl for a while, she just isn’t worth it. I still believe bloody rose is the way to go with the new supplement but Sisters just make me sad now xD.
Good to see the Harlequins though! I’ll probably be staying away from using mine for a while and enjoy the Craftworlders for the time being

I can see a nerf bat coming. Top of T3: Chef had 6CP to Beard’s 0. Harlie’s look oppressive to play. Not sure what GW play testers were thinking.

The re roll denial in conjunction with the average 5 rerolls per battle rounda and the fight on death just wow… I think sadly Harlies this edition aren’t going to be very fun to play against
Is that snazzy Dice tray going to be available in the shop?
Going through the codex – things like pheonix Lords and Web way gates don’t have the craftworld or unaligned keywords – do you think this is an oversight? If not you wouldn’t get a fair few special rules.
