I will just stop playing with nacron players, c’mon I’m playing codex marines, how i can match against such unbalance?

yeeeeaaahhhh. This one might be a bit much. Hopefully it’ll discourage the ctan spam though if destroyers and doomsday cannons become even more powerful

Very disappointed that this is the necron detachment, seems very boring. If you’re that one guy who plays a necron skew list it’s good for you, but other detachments just do what this is trying to do better.

Has anyone heard if all these new detachments will be added to the 40k app anytime soon? I know none of you have any first-hand knowledge of the 40k app, just wondering if you had heard anything. As of today, I don’t think any of them have been uploaded to the app.

As a Necrons player…I have some concerns. On the one hand, I think it’s pretty cool to have a detachment that plays into the Necron power fantasy of having extremely advanced, planet-splitting weapons in the dynastic garage. But I feel like they overcooked this one. This grants powerful buffs to firepower, defense, and movement to some of the Necrons’ most potent units, with little downside. I’ll wait and see how it pans out in the context of the new dataslate and all, but it certainly feels like a very competitive (and potentially salt-inducing) detachment.

Oh hey, I wondered where the Psychic Awakening Iron Hands got off too. Weird that they’re zombie robots now. What will those scamps come up with next.

It looks fun, great strats and quite strong triple dooms day ark is going to be very scary

Currently focusing on admech but this is a fun way of getting the annihilation barges out! Can’t believe they haven’t keyworded out the c’tan.

Hmmm, might have to give this a go. Wonder if we’ll see a few more lists minus the c’tan now

Looking at the detachment I can sort of see it functioning as a hybrid detachment. Sure it’s vehicle based (canoptic doomstalkers, heavy destroyers and doomsday arks,) but half of the strats and enhancements can be infrantry based. As someone who’s necron collection is warrior spam I’m actually really happy with this detachment as it allows me to buff warriors more! Extra reactive movement, extra reanimation, and +1 to wound really helps them out!

I really wanted new ways to play (non-competitively) rather than another reason to take dda’s right before they (rightfully) go up with the update. A warriors spam would have been fun. Give warriors reanimation 2d3 and maybe immortals d6, then maybe 1 AP when in half range. Make a true warrior swarm something cool to play where you want to take 20 man squads and move them up knowing they will reanimate better and get better damage.

So, let me preface this by saying I could be very wrong as I didn’t get into 40k tabletop until the very end of 9th and didn’t play til 10th but, was Transhuman Physiology a real annoying strat? I feel like everyone is getting a version of that now.
