Ok, so… nobody warned me about the emotional trauma that comes as a side salad to the monthly subscription.
To take the Harvester analogy further… I was doing great enjoying the varied delights of the salad bar, growing more and more attached to each of the pasta salads on offer and revelling in the the varied and wide ranging combinations.
But then, guess what, someone comes along and dumps all over my croutons and steals all of the bread rolls… and my heart shatters.

Great report!
The way that Revolting stench vats works is that an opponent’s unit within range doesn’t count as having charged and loses any fight first abilities. This means that they lose abilities like Hateful assault. In terms of fight order, the unit can be activated in step 2 (ongoing combat), so the defending player chooses the first unit. It’s not a ‘fight last’ ability however, but the FBS does have one that works independently from Vats, just not as an aura.

I caught on Beard diabolical plan: he is getting all those rules wrong ON PURPOSE to have Chef go crazy, so he will have someone else to help him create sublime moments like “swans for the swans throne” now that Bone will not be there to give his majestic contribution. You evil mastermind.
