Love Fletcher! What a stunning couple of armies.
Didn’t you 1st round drop pod send to death the libby dread some time in the past? I have kind of a memory of this… can be from one of my games aswell xD

Beautiful armies, excellent paint job, but this batrep feel like one way play. Tau need every turn to be perfect, just to stay on the table, and kill two dreads or 10 marines with whole army. Spider can leave sanguinary guard in deep strike and still win the game. But at least someone tries to continue Bone legacy and one day purple toga will rise again!

The T’au have a horrible time with that mission, being the only army in the game without objective flipping ability, really. Good game and well played, but it’s a shame that The Scouring shows its ugly face once again.

I forgot to mention I love there are now dual wielding combat knives space marines.
Absolutely brilliant game. Loved it. Gutted there was no funny bloopers at the end! But did make me laugh reading, ‘text is now editable, double click to edit, uncheck before rendering’. I did try and double click it, but all I did was pause and start the video again ^.^
Can I humbly ask what technique Fletcher used to accomplish that sweet colour fade on the reds? It cannot be glazing can it😱? Did he use artist ink? Thank you! Edt. Did he brighten up brown to red or darken red to brown?
The next time someone asks me why I play Warhammer I’m going to show them this Battle Report and be like “See all these cool sound effects I can imagine my models having?” Thank you for this amazing bat rep lol <3

Great editing Chef and camera work Beard – always had a great feeling of being part of the battle, got to see clearly the key dice rolls and the camera work / overhead targeting symbols made it really easy and fun to follow. Top work.

Oof I had a bad feeling as soon as I saw the swathes of LOS blocking and dense terrain. Poor Tau are just in a horrific state and it’s unconscionable that gw knowingly left them like this for so long.
Can anyone tell me why grenades get the additional pip of AP in the Devastator Doctrine when it’s virtually impossible to be in range of a 6″ throw? Surely they should be activated in the assault doctrine when you’re up close and personal with xenos scum?
Really nice game, it’s always great when Lawrence is on the screen! The Tearers were quite brutal in melee, but frankly they need quite a lot of help at the moment. Maybe this is an unpopular notion, but I am firmly convinced that all the marines were left way behind by creep of the following codices (only by piling dreadnaughts they can manage) and irritatingly already need a good revamp… but Blood Angels and Flesh Tearers are definitely between the chapters that need some serious buffs the most.
