The ‘Tactical’ pick is the net-Launcher probably, but the Harpoons arent slouches with 4 shots each on a 3 /3 /Rend -1/D3 dmg and 24’ range

I’m not sold on the bow guys, AoS is all about the melee and they aren’t doing it! IMO drop one of the thrall units and the bow guys for more sharks or eels. I also prefer the other eels (especially for your playstyle). Get the spear eels and wreck some face. The sword ones are better at holding objectives and tanking hits

Twas a fun one! Cant tell whether the disgusting ones are very potent in AoS or if its just Chefs filthy rolls making it seem so (although its obvious the Beasts are insane) Either way, I really dig that there are flying sharks as mounts in Sigmar. That’s a whole different kind of sick than what Nurgle is pushing. The real question for me is – do I learn Hedonites of Slaanesh (with a side of Darkness Beasts/Slaves) and confuse my depraved 40k riddled brain with 2 sets of rules for the same models, or climb in to the branches… Read more »

I would like to think this battle happens under water. Idoneth vs the drowned men of nurgle

I say it every time.
“I really am enjoying sigma, so much so that I’m looking into an army”. Now I never played the old world original Warhammer fantasy so I don’t know why sigma has been dumped on by the old players but I do hope 10th edition 40k takes parts from how sigma is played.

It comes across as more interactive and every battle between units is so important for the swing of the game

Keep up the good work boys and jynx.

I think you would find that the Idoneth deepkin musicians would play some sort of concherto to encourage a longer charge

there is something fundamentally WRONG with the phrase “a Grotty on your chest”

Nurgle: 1455 (ish). Idoneth: 2k. – am I missing something, or was there another 545 points of nurgle somewhere? Or just out of models, and didn’t want to handicap idoneth to 1.5k?
Edit: Seems Chef is just saying weird stuff. I will burn a croissant to curse him.

I really love seeing people giving an army a go for the first time. Also, I’m glad you’re feeling better, Chef.

So I was already struggling to choose between Soulblight Gravelords and the Ironjawz and now I really want Maggotkin….

How do you get all three, at a decent standard, with variety, without paying for them? Asking for a friend.

Also great game as always. You guys have converted our group to sigmar lovers. Well done!

With 10th potentially around the corner, and you all getting into AoS, would there be any chance you guys could do a “what we think we could take from aos and adopt that into 40k” video? I think it would be interesting to see what you all think you could take from aos and apply it to 40k, or vice versa

AWESOME!!!! love me some AoS just what’s needed on this cold Saturday Morning. Every time Beard says ‘Eels’ I just hear the Hitcher singing ‘Eels up inside ya’ 🙂

I’m trying to decide on an army for AoS – really struggling to decide. I have played Dwarves in fantasy for so long so I’m thinking of trying something new. Ironically both of these armies are on the list – so I’m going to enjoy this. However can I ask – maggotkin – Droning faction – do you think they would be good against Tzeentch? And the drones shooting attacks is the per model or for the unit?

Is there any chance we could get customisable notifications in the future? I don’t mind the addition of sigmar but it’s a bit of bummer when one gets excited about a TT notification that then turns out just not relevant for oneself.

And before anyone tells me to give AoS a chance, I have and I wish I liked it as the models are amazing. Just the rules that have me not interested
