Merry Christmas 🎄
Not a fan of this detachment, the fluff seems cute with it but that’s as far as it goes for me… Seems VERY situational against any player worth his salt! So who is the resident space wolf commander at tabletop tactics and what’s your honest opinion of this?!
Yeah, it’s a really meh detachment rule, the strats have potential but a good opponent will not give you the chance to use it or bait you into a Combat they can control
Chef the link isn’t working
Space Wolves!!!! Yes please!
Fantastic detachment! Best one they’ve released this month by miles!
Seems like a detachment that is awesome in the hands of someone significantly better at positioning than me. Just having a front line your opponent really doesn’t want to charge seems nasty.
Sounds like a great detachement. And i wish the whole tabletop tactics team a great X-mas and a happy New Year! Keep up the awsome work you do and may 2025 be a great hobby year for all of you : ) Greetz from Holland
Love this. It literally pushed rhe play of all the gravis/terminator armour which is how infantry to play. Cannot wait to get this on the board.
Guys I’ve got a fully painted space wolves army I’d happily loan you for a month or two for some battle reports – feel free to drop me a message. It’s around 4000 points and has most options within it to build varying flavours!
Sidenote, I really feel this detachment sucks 🙃
“I like the detachment, it really does feel quite fluffy” – I see what you did there
As a sidenote, glad to hear that there is a Wolves army in the works at the studio. Not just because it will be a blast to see my savage warrior poets in action, but also because I was already pondering how you will really be even able to talk about their codex when it finally comes out without really having that feel how the army plays in action.
Merriest of celebrations to fill this end of the year and thanks to Tabletop Tactics for all the awesome content.
Really conflicted about this detachment rule. The flavor is pretty good and this does give some nice insight how they see the Space Wolves identity.
My issue, though, is how focused this is on the terminators as then that 3 inch range on the countercharge rule doesn’t feel like that much. This would require essentially clumping the units together in a manner that doesn’t feel optimal, at least at first glance. Still might be very wrong here. If the range was longer, I would be much more into this rule as it would really allow interesting board control tricks.
