Today’s League game is being fought over the remains of a lost chapter’s home world. The Flesh Tearers have descended to sever this tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan and avenge the memory of a lost Space Marine Chapter.

The fact that you guys know and I assume like FF7 and started humming the final boss battle music of original FF7 warms my heart, you guys are great!

Is Ed going to play everyone with his Nids? I’m all for it, run the gauntlet!

That Sanguinor is very cool, I assume kit bashed. Love to see the boys from Baal on the table, but I do have a soft spot for nids

Well, looked like the Tyranids did reasonably well in the first two turns, but after the hard hit back on the second Flesh Tearers turn and not really doing anything turn 3 the game quickly went south. Ed brings always such positive energy and immersion. Love him on the channel. One day you might beat Lawrence, who just always plays so solidly. One day!

I’m so invested in the Master and Apprentice roles of Spider and Ed these days 😁 really fun to see Ed getting so invested in improving! One day you’ll beat Spider and it’ll be seismic.

My one friendly tip is try not to spend CP on redrawing cards turn 1, there’s actually very few cards you can score that early and discarding at the end of the turn gives you more CP for those critical rounds 1 and 2.

Lol Lawrence is still salty from when the blood angels codex personally attacked him by saying you aren’t being true to the lore if you run BA epic heros in successor chapters

Great game, I am a new player and still very inexperienced but I really think Ed is improving in his play. Really fun to watch. Thank you

Great game, a proper bloodbath of a fight. A friendly suggestion for Ed – it might be worth fighting back the urge to overwatch too much; it does burn through your CP very quickly for unreliable results (especially without things like full hit reroll) and can leave you short of CP to do a crucial interrupt in combat instead 🙂

How has it taken me so long to realise the terrain is the space Marine buildings from dawn of war? 🤦‍♂️

Can never have too many Flesh Tearers videos, keep them coming, what introduced me to Tabletop Tactics was a search for their Battle Reports

Even without the Neurotyrant, I’d keep the zoanthropes as a block of six rather than two lots of three. The stratagems (e.g. overwatch and fnp) are great value on 6 but weak on 3. Keep them near the hive tyrant and they really benefit from his assault, lethal hits and free stratagem bubbles.

It’s always nice to see ed improving with the bugs,, your execrine and tyranifex are on point now days. If you’re looking for pointers I’d say try using your little Gribblies to screen and protect your malicepter – it’s a difficult beast to shift but it’s actually kind of weak in melee. You get more out of it as a big bubble of synapse with a fairly tasty psychic attack on top

I know it is really hard to put out videos and not make mistakes (especially when you are also doing all of the grotmas detachments) but the flesh testers are not Ad Mech (please check Lawrence’s army list intro).

At the start of Lawrence’s list the army is named as ad mech…… this amuses me after stigs similar hiccup at the tournament 😆
